Tomas Rosicky 'Cech's' On Petr

Tomas Rosicky has visited his friend and international teammate Petr Cech after a freak accident left him needing emergancy surgery to relieve pressure on his brain.

A depressed fracture will see Cech out for a very long time yet, and Rosicky has been checking up on him.

When quizzed as to wether or not he had spoken to Cech since his injury, Rosicky said,

'I was visiting him yesterday, and he's doing much better than before and he's looking good, I hope for him and I wish him all the best and I wish he recovers as soon as possible.'

'I have played alot of times with him in the national team so we are good friends.'

It's never nice to see a player suffer any kind of injury, especially one so severe, so I'd like to take this opportunity (seen as the uproar and arguments have now died down) to wish Petr Cech a speedy recovery.

yes, a freak injury like that is never nice to see, its only a game after all. i do admire his ability between the sticks, will be interesting to see if chelski sign a quality keeping, rumour being Buffon, or go the season and keep their fingers crossed. personally i think Cech is worth 3pts because of the clean sheets, so it is a hard job to fill.. GD luck

At least 3 points. We're lucky to have Cudicini as back-up, but sadly he doesn't instil quite the same sense of reliability as Petr. Here's to a speedy recovery for the big man.

Carlo has been a favourite with the fans, but has committed some errors in the big games, hopefully not this season! But with Cech out you have a better opportunity to make up the gap.

lol westl, so you say you're team is so dependent on cech tat his absense can help ur rivals make up the gap to chelsea, woah, wonder why you spend so much money on other players then as they cannot stop ur rivals from coming close to chelsea as cech can lol, but anyways if you and chelski think like tat, then it's only better for us..

Not that I ever wanted to wish any unpleasant injuries on any player, but I always wondered how Chelsea would react if they were to lose KEY players to long term injuries...I wonder how it would be with Lampard or Terry ...or both out for three or four months....Sure they would cope but here we have a situation where Cech is out and their fans are saying that we now have a better chance to catch them....does it mean if they have a few more injuries their fans will think they will be fighting for a place in Europe at the end of the season ????
