Is It Time For Jeremie Aliadiere?

Arsene Wenger thinks that Jeremie Aliadiere is vastly improved this season after working very hard in training.

Aliadiere has always been a hot prospect for the Gunners but a series of terrible injuries has blighted his career and he has never quite made it with the Gunners.

However this season Le Boss believes the Frenchman is making great progress, which is why his contract was recently extended.

'There has been an improvement in Jeremie this year, definitely,' the Gunners boss said. 'He takes more initiative, he is more powerful and he works very hard as well.

'Since I've known Jeremie, who came here as a great prospect, he has had a lot of problems with injury.

'But this year, when we started on the first day on the July 4, he has had no problems with injuries.

'He is a big prospect because we kept confidence in him when he was really down and we extended his contract last year.'

I personally believe this is Jeremie's last shot at the big time with Arsenal, if he does not make it this year then it will be time to sell and move on to other players.

I agree it's make or break, but if he stays fit, he will be an excellent player and a different option upfront. He should definitely be involved today.

obviously i want Ali, just as I do every arsenal player, to be a success. It's a wierd one with Ali, when I'd seen him playing for the first team before, i always thought he looked a bit lightweight to maybe make it upfront, but then i thnk back and realise that was 3 whole years ago!!! Here's hoping he does have what it takes... but then what happens with Lupoli and Bendtner??? Oh, trials and tribulations, rather you than me, Arsene :) »»Arsene Knows««
