As mesmerising a game as it was frustrating. Rosicky was simply amazing, helping out in defence and then getting plays started like lightning. I was also very pleased with Justin Hoyte, he seemed to have an air of imperiousness (imperiosity?) to his play. Spank the hell out of West Ham, and we should have a good chance against Liverpool. Here's hoping.

This team plays the best football I have ever seen. It is only round the corner and some poor unlucky team will be thrashed, 9 or more goals. Last night it should have been at least seven; keep playing like this and no one repeat no one will beat this team. A joy to watch.

I concur with the above comments. If we play like that, we'll win the lot, this team is on the cusp of something special, will post report around lunch time. Very frustrating result, but strangely I still feel very satisfied this morning.

Waking this morning there will probably many articles in the press spouting the same old cr*p about over play and trying to walk the ball in the net, when that wasn't the case. It was three very bad offensive mistakes that cost an had one, two or even all three gone in then the world would be ranting about how brilliant we were. It's a strange one. I think the distinct lack of Spurs fans making comments it testament to how well we played.

Well the fans were great, they were shoting shoot alot at some times but still great, although we dominated by miles and should have won eaisily.

Steady on. As a Spurs fan, from what I have read, CSKA didn't do an Everton but actually came to play. Despite all the eulogies about a wonderful performance, the bean counters will say it is 2 pts dropped. Whilst great football is always wonderful to watch, Arsenal fans must genuinely wish that occasionally you would just get an 'ugly' win. I think Porto are now level with you and I think there must be a little concern. The final game of the group in Porto could be decisive. I am very surprised at how badly Hamburg have done. They do have some very talented players like Van Der Vaart, and Arsenal's inability in being unable to put away even 1 in 9 clear chances is the kind of statistic that can come back in haunt a side.
