Clichy: Carry On Regardless

Arsenal's Gael Clichy says if we keep playing in the manner we are at the moment then it won't be too long before everything clicks, and someone get's a mauling.

The Gunners racked up over 20 odd shots against Moscow on Wednesday night and yet failed to find the net once, but the French left back believes there's not much we are doing wrong.

'Sometimes you can try as hard as you like and the ball will just not go in - that was the match against Moscow,' the full-back said.

'We played well, had a lot of chances - but we just have to look forward to the next game and try to score from the first minute.'

'We just have to get the first goal, which will make the game easier. We just have to keep playing like we have been and everything will be fine.'

Clichy also insists that with the quality at personelle at our club we can't go far wrong.

'We have a great quality of passing football and everyone has to play the way they want to.'

'When we have the likes of Thierry, Robin and Cesc, we can really play in the space on the Emirates pitch and it is hard for the opponents.'

'Maybe they have found a way they think they can play against us, but again we had something like 10 chances, and if we had scored the first one, we could have won the game 4-0.'

it was good to see click back playing and i was watching on wednesday thinking, blimey has he got quicker ? or am i used to seeing a slower version in hoyte or flamini ? it is good to hear the players realising exactly what happened wednesday and that chances is a good thing, but conversions are much better still. so does this mean west ham might geta thumpin on sunday ?

puregold, let's hope so. After that debacle last year against them, when they could have been 3-4 goals down in thefirst 5 mins!!! Let's hope clichy stays injury free, i really want to see how good he can become... »»Arsene Knows««
