Thierry Henry - A Gooner For Life

Thierry Henry - A Gooner For Life

After Thierry Henry dismissed pathetic reports that he was unhappy at Arsenal and sought a move away from North London in the transfer window, he has now said he wants to be a Gooner for life.

Speaking with the French magazine L'Equipe, Henry gave the news all Arsenal fans love to hear.

'Do I regret having extending my deal at Arsenal? No, I am keen to stay all life long at Arsenal,' said Henry in L'Equipe.

'I am fine here, I could never play in any other English team. If an opportunity like Barcelona comes again, with all my respect for such a club, I will refuse.'

'It was one of my last decisions of my career. I don't feel I have lost anything, I have no regret.'

'Arsenal matches my ambitions, it could make some people laugh, but here in England there is a real culture - a love for the shirt.'

'Players stay several years in their clubs. Once you have been adopted by the fans they show you real gratitude for your whole life.'

He looked hungry again yesterday, and whilst he wasn't at his goal scoring best, he worked his socks off and bled Red & White for the team.

tis true, i think he is carrying an injury, but he still worked back and nicked the ball off bellamy HAHAHAHA... infact i think he got the needle at one point during second half, you know, a player annoys him and he gets the raving toot and then will play his amazign football and go past people and show them up, thats what i saw and its only time before he will score a shed ful of goals

i really dont see why this is an issue anymore. its only the media, i suppose, who ask him these stupid questions. no doubt about where his future lies, if u ask me.

yeah.. the media trying to unsettle a player.. henry has shown staunch commitment to the club yesterday in the game against pool.. and its utter rubbish that the media are trying to unsettle the player.. as soon as he gets back to his awesome exhilerating goal scoring form.. all these rubbish rumours will die down..

the only way I could see him moving on is if wenger left in the near future and it would depend on who was setto replace him...highly unlikely though..............

Henry has emphatically stated that he will be a Gunner for life after the loss in the CL Grand Final. That's more than clear. Why are the media cooking up crap every now and then?
