Gooner Scores For England Shocker!

Vital Arsenal brings you the amazing news that two, yes TWO Arsenal players started for England, well, England U21`s and one of them even managed to score a goal. I know, unbelievable.

Both Justin Hoyte and Theo Walcott started the game in Holland. England just about edged the game thanks to a Justin Hoyte goal after a howler from Dutch 'keeper. Boy Waterman's clearance hit the right back who only had to pass the ball in to an open goal to give England the lead.

Theo Walcott played 83 minutes and looked dangerous throughout although he didn`t find the net.

Another former Arsenal youngster - Quincy Owusu-Abeyie played the full 90 minutes for Holland.

Well that`s the news folks, an Arsenal player scored for England. You don`t see it too often so treasure it.

Hope the keeper ends up at White Hart Lane, although having said that he's probably better than the fat useleess git they have at the moment!

Also in this same news section, reports emerged following the match that the ga,e was indoubt prior to kick off, due to the poor state of the pitch. The Problem was rectified once Martin Jol stepped into the breach and kindly offered to roll from one end of the pitch to the other, thus resulting in a lovely smooth surface, much like the one stretched around his ginormous gut. »»Arsene Knows««

today's cheap spurs jibe was brought to you by the letter 'A', which stands for 'Arsenal', the pride of north london. »»Arsene Knows««

I think you'll find also that a Gooner scored the last 2 goals for the U-21's before last night too.

yeah.. walcott did that.. but its really unbelieveable tofind hoyte on the scoresheet.. hope he does that more often..

Holding out for you're under 21's!!! Shame you have no full England Internationals!!

Not like your peripheral England players. They must be pretty sh1t not to get into the current side. Apart from big fat Robbo of course. Quality goalkeeper as long as the shot is above knee height.

fat Robbo - Arsenal reject :p..

what is happening, are we going the spuds direction and getting all english for breakfast ? i still prefer my conteniental crossaints myself.. but hey ho
PUREGOLD
we are going to take over the england national team, and then we are going to be blamed for pooring the standard of european football by having all english players :p..
luckys_10
hey guys, here's a question for everyone, can anyone tell who was the last arsenal player to score for the national side before sol campbell at the world cup 2002?
luckys_10
Could this be a trick question? Cos Ray Parlour had an effort incorrectly ruled out v. Finland in October 1999. Prior to that, it would have to be Merson or Wright? Though Jeffers scored v Oz in 2003. That's a ******* good question.

Robinson is still pretty young for a keeper and Lehmann who was at Schalke at this age was notorious for some shockers.
Sir_Harry
he's having a great time and to get thge winner too........
