'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Bendtner's Got The Blues

Birmingham boss Steve Bruce has confirmed that Arsenal`s on-loan striker Nicklas Bendtner will remain at Birmingham City for the rest of the season.

It had been thought that Wenger wanted the youngster to return to Arsenal due to his superb form so far this season. The striking starlet has been in enjoying his football and is currently the Blues top scorer with seven goals so far this season.

Steve Bruce confirmed the news to Birmingham`s official website:
'I spoke to Mr Wenger on Tuesday and he has confirmed that unless something untoward happens, the agreement that we can have him for the season remains,' said Bruce to the club official website.

'It was good for him to confirm that. His people are here every game so they know exactly how he is performing.

'He knows that the three young lads are doing particularly well (Bendtner, Larsson and Muamba).

'Once the window has gone then there is no recall after that.'
