Another Striker In Need Of A Rest!

Arsenal`s young striking starlet Carlos Vela has confessed that Thierry Henry is not the only striker in need of a rest. Vela, on loan at Salamanca, says that his outstanding form has left him in need of a rest.

The 17-year-old Mexican wonderkid has already bagged himself 6 goals this season but feels it`s time for a rest.

'Everything is tiring. The matches and the kicks that I am getting. It's all building up,' he told Spanish paper Marca.

Salamanca gaffer Javi Lopez says Vela is 'a person, and not a machine,' but he added that his player would 'have to get used to the kicks', and try to get away with 'as little as possible' in terms of kicks from defenders.

Vela will now be allowed to miss this weekend`s game against Albacete, despite the club doctor not being able to see any signs of tiring.

If you think a warm evening in Spain is bad Carlos, wait until you try a January evening in Bolton!
