van Persie Foot 'Doesn't Look Good'

Robin van Persie limped off the beautiful Arsenal playing surface at halftime yesterday after kicking the bottom of Scott Parker's foot.

Henry replaced RvP at the start of the second half as the Dutchman could not possibly return.

Wenger confirmed that Robin will miss Tuesday's Champions League clash with Hamburg, and hinted that the injury could be quite serious.

'His foot doesn't look good. We have to see what is coming out on the X-ray. Just now I don't know, but it looks like he will be out on Tuesday night.' Confirmed Le Boss.

damn this is bad news, he is the only pure goal scorer after thierry in the team, hope he is back for the trip to bolton..
luckys_10
How many wide open chamces did he manage to miss in just 45 minutes?
Westl
None - He had a few good efforts, but nothing clear cut. Great player, better than Robben anyway :P

your going to miss him...
ernshaw
Shame if he's not fit, he's showing signs of integrating more in recent games. And yeah, better than robben, van basten seems to think so too, building the dutch team around him ;-) »»Arsene Knows««

Well, that's all sorted then - good news on the RVP front. Shame BIlly's taken his place on the treatment table :( »»Arsene Knows««
