Bert Back In The Team, van Persie Ok

After the crappy news of William Gallas's injury earlier today, we have at last, had some good news.

Gilberto has returned from his time with his family in Brazil and Robin van Persie injury has been brushed off as nothing by Arsene Wenger.

Wenger also indicated Bert will start the match against Hamburg.

"Robin van Persie`s injury is not serious at all and Gilberto is back in the squad. He has returned from Brazil. He had a family problem but it is sorted out. I have to decide yet but I think he will start."

I hope thats cheered everyone up a little bit.

great to have Gilberto and RVP back, now just hope that rosicky and gallas get back to fitness in time for the chelsea clash..
luckys_10
yeah but w75, the loss of gallas is a big blow, just hope he can shrug off this injury, the same way he did earlier this season, cuz i really want him to make the spurs and chelsea games..
luckys_10
true, luckys_10. however i hope that the talenmts of djourou and senderos can combine to help fill the gap left by gallas's absence. »»Arsene Knows««

what about rosicky, i think he is a major key for us, we have a much better forward movement when he plays.
PUREGOLD
He should be back but we'll find out soon I guess, Gallas is still a major loss, hisexperience in the back four was vital but toure is the best still and guess a young player can go their.

I think, overall we are ok. Gallas and Rociskya are blows, but we have their positions covered (I'm not saying Djourou/Senderos are as good :), while allowing us to play our natural game. I'm looking fwd to see who arsene will play instead of Gallas. I would prefer Senderos though Djourou is also promising. Good to know Gilberto is back, will make the loss of Billy and Tomas a little bearable,
