'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Cole Wants January Return

Arsenal left back, Ashley Cole, has been out of action since October but now has his heart set on returning in the new year.

The England star suffered a stress fracture on his right foot, he originally thought the injury wouldn't be much of a problem but in the end had to undergo surgery. Now however, there is finally some light at the end of the tunnel.

'It is getting better, I don't want to set a date because I am not sure.

'I am working hard in the gym and hopefully it will be just a few more weeks.

'Hopefully if it all goes well, it will be mid-January hopefully.'
