Connolly Is Cherry Picked

Promising central defender Matthew Connolly has move to Bournemouth on loan till the new year.

Connolly had just recently been talking to the Official Arsenal magazine saying,

'Sometimes, you've just got to keep playing, keep working and your chance will come. If not, then maybe you have to think about going on loan to get some games.'

No-one has mentioned that to me yet, but I've seen how well Nicklas Bendtner, Fabrice Muamba, Anthony Stokes and the others are doing, so maybe it's something that will happen in the future.'

Only Matthew knows whether or not the wheel's were in motion when he gave this interview, but one thing is for sure, a few months of being kicked around in the cloggers league can only be good for the lad.

top headline sir! hopefully he'll be the one doing the kicking, or rather, not having to, as his ability wil lnot see him have to. Let's hope it goes well for the guy... »»Arsene Knows««

what league are they in!? surely we couldve found a championship side for him, he's quality...

i think the reason he's ended up going there is because they are having injury problems or are short on players fo one reason or another. It's likely that most of the championship teams would have better cover in their squads... »»Arsene Knows««
