'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fabregas: We Have To Wake Up

Arsenal's midfiled teenage sensation, Cesc Fabregas has warned his Arsenal team mates that they need to 'wake up' or face a beating from their London rivals.

Arsenal have lost their last two premiership games against Bolton and Newcastle and a third straight defeat could prove to be disastrous.

“We have to wake up again,”

“We were doing well in the Premiership the, Champions League and the Carling Cup, all the young players were moving forward too.

“But if you sleep a little bit in football then someone will come along and beat you. You have to be ready every single time. This is not a really good time for us but now we have to show we are Arsenal and we are winners.”

“We have to work as a unit and a team,” he said. “The fans can help us as well, they will be important. It would be a shame to miss this opportunity with all the players we have. But it will need more commitment from everyone.

“If we could beat Chelsea it would be a great win for us. Not just for the result but for our confidence too.”

If Arsenal manage to beat Chelsea on Sunday they will equal Newcastle's record of 14 straight home victories.
