Henry: Fabregas Is Key

Gunners captain Thierry Henry knows that Cesc Fabregas is still young, but he can pull all the strings in Arsenal's vital Champions League clash in Portugal tomorrow.

Arsenal must avoid defeat to Porto tomorrow to secure their place in the knockout stages, and Henry thinks Fabregas is just the man to take them there.

'I have so much confidence in Fabregas,' Henry told Sky Sports News.

'I think he's young, but I do think he can spark the team any time he wants to do it.'

'He doesn't know yet how good he is and I think he can do what he wants.'

Yes, this is an important game. We have to and must win it convincingly!

even a draw will be good enough, just get thru to the next round and then draw barcelona, hope we draw them and get our revenge..
luckys_10
yeah man i really hope we get them so we can show them what would've happened 11 vs 11. With important ppl out of the squad i feel this gives other players time SHINE (beast) and FAb goin be one of them. someone is GUNNA get it.
Youngest in Charge
Cesc is amazing, but he is young and at some stage will need a rest or we risk him being burnt out at such a young age.

PG he DID get one half off against Fulham :). But i think once Baptista starts playing regularly, we can rotate our central midfield around. Cesc should be up for it, tonight though. Lets hope he weaves his magic as only he can.
prits
yes your right prits, and cesc will deffo be up against the portuguese, less we forget also portugal players had the most yellow and red cards of this years world cup, so it might go in our favour !

We don't need to worry about the performance tonight lads, lets just get the result we need. This could be the game when Theo steps up to the plate. The Master maybe injured, but his young apprentice is more than ready to fill his boots.

great praise for theh youngster....

theo didn't even play nore did baptista, which annoys me slightly, cos i thought if there was a game when he might play them, this was it. wenger seemed to play for the draw from the off.
