Wenger: Stop Diving

Arsene Wenger has 'had a chat' with Emmanuel Eboue with regards to his theatrics on the field.

The Arsenal boss publically lambasted Eboue after his dive in the Champions League final, and he has had to have words again.

'We've had a chat with Eboue about exaggerating on the field,' admitted Wenger.

'We don't want him to do that. I came out after the Champions League final last year to say that as well.'

'Reputations are easy to get in football and hard to lose.'

However the Ivorian fullback made a bit of a meal of an incident with Frank Lampard at Stamford Bridge today, I wonder if Wenger will be calling him in again.

This is why I like wenger, e does not tolerate stupidness or diving, which is great.

well said mr wenger....if only a few more managers would have this sort of chat with their diving players....

eboue really shouldn't be diving, such a talent personally. wenger is true to his word, no to diving, always.
