Arsenal Draw PSV

Arsenal Draw PSV

Arsenal will take on PSV in the first knockout stage of the Champions League.

The Gunners have an excellent record against the dutch outfit and are unbeaten against them in the Champions League, and while no game is easy, it is a tie you would expect us to qualify from.

Arsenal are away for the first game on February 20 or 21. The return leg will take place at Ashburton Grove on March 6 or 7.

In other ties, Josie Moaninho visits his old club Porto, lets hope he gets the reception he deserves.

Man Utd got the 'easiest draw with a visit to Lille, Celtic got a plum tie in their first outing in the knockout stages with AC Milan, while 5 times winners Liverpool has the tricky test of playing the current holders.

On current form all the british teams would have a good chance to qualify but a lot can change between now and Febuary! Etoo will be back for Barca, Henry for Arsenal! Its all very exciting, Any spuds fans passing through? THIS IS WHAT ITS ALL ABOUT! Whens the UEFA cup draw?!!

I'm happy with this draw....there were some tough potential games out there I have been to PSV twice, once when we drummed them 4-0, and the second time when Lauren & Vieira were dismissed They are OK. We should win this tie fairly comfortably

Good draw because we really should come through, but it's in keeping with our current cup tradition in that I've been there a few times already. I've got a sneaky feeling Liverpool are gonna do Barca, I think it'll be 0-0 in the Nou Camp and the scousers will nick it 1-0 at Anfield. Speaking of which I see Gerrard has slated Les Reed for not making him feel more at ease during Euro 2000- are you beginning to get my point about this guy now?

Great Draw, confident that we will go through if all our players are fit and the real Henry is back, but as all gooners know our team will put us through the emotional wringer first!!! I fancy Porto putting Chelski out, they'll be up for it, as for Liverpool, I think its an easy game for Barca, as we are destined to meet them again and give them a good spanking!!!!

hmmm shall i fly or shall i drive, great memories of psv,my friend had a ten inch ready rolled dutch cigerette in his pocket,he got searched on the way in,and when the policeman found it he said"ohh thats a big one,i hope you enjoy it"remember gilberto, our stand was bouncing up and down, and we sung our hearts out as the gunners rip them to bits

oooh la la la we got the flying dutchman ! kewl, i fancy got to the Phillips stadium ! might take in the sights, buy some cheese and clogs, coffee and cake the usual

The stadium's o.k (particularly because they have a great big radiator positioned above the away enclosure), but Eindhoven is a very boring town. Drove the first time (when the car got broken into), got the train second time via Brussels (where my mate got mugged). Fran, if you're interested, there's a nice little coffee shop next to the stadium just off the town centre. At least that's what my mate told me :-)

Oh and it's very easy to stay in Amsterdam for this game. At PSV, they have a train platform adjoined to the away enclosure with trains that go non stop to Amsterdam. Originally designed with the intention of getting Ajax fans out of dodge as quickly as possible, but I bet the train companies make a killing in 'curious' tourists!
