Arsenal Ace Out Until The New Year

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Freddie Ljungberg's dreaded hamstring injury has struck again.

The Swede was replaced by Theo Walcott after just five minutes of the game against Portsmouth on Saturday.

Wenger confirmed: 'He had a hamstring [injury]. He will miss the Christmas period.'

Ljungberg's injury couldn't have come at a worse time for Arsenal as he joins Theirry Henry, William Gallas, Tomas Rosicky and Abu Diaby on the injury list.

Freddie has really become injury prone over the last two season, hope he gets over this injury and comes back as the old Freddie we all know and love, he hasnt been in great form in the last few months, but the man is class and our most senior player in the team, so hope he's back to his best soon, we love you Freddie..

sammylash you're pathetic, the guy has been at the club since 98 and is a legend in his own right, dun forget what he has contributed to the success of this club, he hasnt been great this season, but that's not how you talk about a true arsenal great and he deserves a little bit of respect so think first before talking so much trash..

Arsenal journeyman Ferddie Ljngvbjrg has confirmed that Arson Vengeful's dreaded brain cramp injury has struck again. And the Guardian reports that the club fully expects a prolonged sideline ban for the high-strung whinger. The ravin' Alsatian was replaced on the bench at half-time by a club level sous chef in the game against Portsmouth on Saturday. Ljngvbjrng confirmed: 'He had the braincramp [injury] again. I was down the tunnel, gettin' me Y-fronts pressed for a photo shoot when he stormed down, chucking chairs and chewing out stadium staff. He's missing a lot these days we expect he will miss many more things from the Christmas period to Bastille Day.' Vengeful's injury couldn't have come at a worse time for Arsenal as he joins Theirry Henry(insouciance), William Gallas(Gallic gastritis), Tomas Rosicky(hangnail) and Abu Diaby(no one cares) and now Ljngvbrjg, who was hit by a flying chair, on the injury list. "Lads are all worried about him," giggled Ljngvbjrg. "These injuries get worse and worse each time. Like the buildup of concussion effects. We all expect him to burst into flame one of these days. We each got a tenner in a pool to predict the time and date." Jens Lehmann is expected to recover soon from a badly bruised ego. It's a recurring injury and the concern is the increasing frequency it occurs and the growing severity of the malady. He's expected to seek long-term solutions in a Black Forest psychiatric spa this summer.

No, funny was 2-0 Pompey and the toilets jammed at Stade Escargot. D'ya think Arson'll get a long suspension?
