Adebayor Loves Gooners
Emmanuel Adebayor has thanked Gooners for their patience and support whilst he settled in.
Thankfully Ade didn't hear comments from so called Gooners after the Togolese striker signed. Many fans doubted Manu and labelled him 'Kanu 2' and/or other derogatory terms.
However this Arsenal fan always had faith in his abilities and now Adebayor is shining I can't sit here smug in the knowledge I am one of the few that knew he could make the grade and provided something different to our side.
'That is very important to me,' he said. 'I am a young player and I have come to London only one year ago.'
'If supporters are taking me to their hearts and singing my name then it helps you to just play well on the pitch with your confidence at 100 per cent.'
'I will just play for them and give all I have in my heart for them. I only had 30 minutes against Portsmouth and I was very tired but I gave everything I could.'
It's not often I'm right so forgive me for drawing this out.
Well Done Manu, keep up the good work.

? worst? . anyway Adebayor recently has become great, his finishing is top draw and the highb-asburton Faithfull has taken him in.
He can only get better and I hope he keeps this up!

I bet you wish that were the case when he slotted home against Spurs. My that was a marvelous finish, the way the back of the net rippled was sumptuous.

he is only 22 and he's been year for less than a year and has been so impressive. given his age, it's scary to think just how good this lad can get if he keeps his head..

ahhhhh........he scored the difficult goal........but missed the simple one ! he could have scored when put clear but hesitated too long as he shaped up to do a henry low-pass-into-net goal. And got tackled. Unbelievable tardiness. Work rate? Excellent. Finishing? Suspect. Intelligence? Suspect.

Adebayor has been magnificant for us, especially in the last few weeks. The goals he scored against Tottenham and Wigan were clinicial finishes, and he gave Chelsea's defense a hell of a test as a lone striker.

I think the only thing that puts people off of Ade is that when he's running - because he's so tall and gangly - he looks clumsy and a bit haphazard. I bet if he looked more composed on the pitch then he wouldn't be getting as much stick as he does. His record so far this season speaks for itself really and I expect it to get better as the season progresses, he's only 22 after all.
