Lupoli Set To Leave Arsenal

Arsenal's Italian starlet Arturo Lupoli says that he will join Derby on a permanant basis if the club win promotion.

The Italian has been tipped by Thierry Henry to lead the Arsenal attack once the Frenchman retired and Arsene Wenger even hailed him the best finisher at Arsenal, quite some compliment when you consider that the all-time top scorer is still at the club!

When speak to the Derby Evening Telegraph Lupoli said: 'I really want to get promoted with this team.

'I think we have a great opportunity and, if we do it, I will be looking forward to staying for some more years with Derby.

'It's a great club with great players. If we get promoted, it will be even better.

'I just hope to keep enjoying playing and we'll see what happens at the end of the season.'

In other news, Arsenal's Calring Cup quater final tie with Liverpool has been called off due to poor visibility on the pitch.

A date for the tie hasn't yet been set.

Mish, where does he hint that he may stay? He said: "if we do it, I will be looking forward to staying for some more years with Derby." he clearly says there that if Derby get up then he is as good as off.
simmy8_2000
well i hope not from everything we hear he is amazing
mish
anyway if he is too impatient to wait for his chance let him go.
mish

SeasideEssexXile
Can't blame him given Derby's season so far.
sandgroanun
Oh well. Another "world class player" as my gooner mate would tell me. Yet he cant even get in your team!?!?!?!?
Jacky B
he still just 19 he started at Parma, and during his Under-17 season he scored 45 goals in 22 game and was our top scorer at reserve level in 04-05 scoring 27 in 32 appearances
mish
Mish - Could you please explain your sensationalism comments. He never even mentions Arsenal nevermind suggesting he may stay. If anything it's YOUR comments that are guilty of sensationalism!
Rocky7
my bad im a bit sentimental dont want the guy to leave ive been bragging to chavski fans down under
mish
I never believe reports of transfers until i see them, if lupoli is looking for a move from mighty arsenal to derby, then that just shows his ambitions. so the kid wants to play football, if he was that good he would be in the first team squad as is Theo... if they are good enough i.e CESC, they get in.. maybe he ain't cutting the mustard.
PUREGOLD
So many "class" youngsters you have up front who are around - Lupoli, Stokes, Berndter, etc. Got to start playing them more in the first team otherwise they all will want to leave.
