'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Thierry Henry Is Disillusioned

I think Thierry Henry has something wrong with his noggin, after recently proclaiming that he wants to be an Arsenal legend.

The Frenchman says important to him that he is remembered for his loyalty to Arsenal aswell as his goals.

'How I am thought of when my career ends is very important to me,' Henry told the News of the World.

'I would like to be seen as a Paolo Maldini type of player so that when people speak about Arsenal, they speak of me.'

''It's something I feel strongly about. Titles and trophies can be won and they stay with you but loyalty remains even longer.'

'When you arrive at training and you see you have received so many letters asking you to stay, it has an effect,' Henry added.

'When you get that on a daily basis it counts for something.'

I think I speak for Gooners everywhere when I say there should be no worries for Arsenal's greatest ever goalscorer, we already think you're a legend.

But if you want the legend to be greater, who are we to stop you? :)

I can't help but feel Titi's issuing a wee cry for love with that statement. Well, dude, we love you. Come back in 2007, dovetail beautifully with the other members of the team, score bags of goals and put dogbag in his place. You;re already an arsenal legend, young-feller-me-lad!!! Enhance the legend in 2007. »»Arsene Knows««

A fully fit Henry for 5 months is better than a 50% fit Henry all season!!

Titi you're already a legend, you're leader, you're are best player, you're everything this club is all about, and we can't wait to have you back..

Thierry - icon, legend, idol, role-model, a great human being and most importantly a Gooner.

Dude please be careful about the tone of your blog. This comes up on Newsnow.co.cuk as a sticky highlight saying 'Thierry Henry Is Disillusioned'. This is bad PR for Arsenal. Only about 1,000,000 people are gonna see that text in any one day. It will definitely have an affect on how a percentage of football fans view Arsenal.

Well if people do not have the forebearance to read the article then I say, **** em!!!!

it is always good for a player at his ripe old age to have this desire not only to win, but stay and help the club he loves, very rare in todays day and age. and yes he is a legend in my eyes :)

cant disagree with that.. if we can do what we did to blackburn without him and gallas.. think of what we would do if these two are back and hit form.. which i'm pretty sure of..

Henry you are a Legand and we will love u even if u dont score a goal in a whole season!!

I'm getting pretty excited about the new year. With all the players we have to return theres much to be joyful about. We have a 'kind' run of fixtures coming up, and once Ralph, Eboue, Titi, Diaby & Billy are back to health we are going to have one hell of a squad!!!!

the new year will bring with it exciting new possibilities for this arsenal team, with henry back !!!
