Van Persie: We're Gunner Be Top

Van Persie: We're Gunner Be Top

Robin Van Persie says that Arsenal are the best team in England, despite being 4th in the league.

The Dutchman is Arsenal's top scorer so far this season with nine goals. He has seven in the league, including 2 against Blackburn in Saturday's game.

Arsenal are 14 and 12 points behind United and Chelsea respectivly but Van Persie says that doesn't mean they are better teams.

Van Persie said: : "There is no better side, football-wise, than Arsenal in England — definitely, 100 per cent.

"It is frustrating for us but I see it in a positive way. We are proving every week we are the best. I watch a lot of football and sometimes I see games on TV and I think 'I could never play in that team`.

"When I see those games I am just happy I am in a team that plays fantastic football.

"We have the likes of Rosicky, Hleb and Fabregas.

"They are top, top players who see almost everything that is around them and that is very, very special."
