Henry Hails King Theo

Henry Hails King Theo

Arsenal's living legend Thierry Henry has hailed Theo walcott claiming that the young Englishman is 'something special'.

Arsene Wenger brought Walcott to Arsenal for an inital fee of £5 Million last January after a transfer battle with Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United.

Spu*s were reported to have shown an interest in him but I think we can safely say that they were just punching above their weight...for a change.

Anyhow, Henry claims that you know when you are in the presence of a future star.

Henry said: 'Theo will be a future star for England, there is no doubt about that.

'A sign of a great player is that he makes a major impression on you the first time you see him.

'Suddenly, there is this great talent with such pace and an amazing first touch, and I said to myself, 'Wow, there is something special here.'

'Now he is stronger, more experienced and he looks at home at this level. You will see him play more and become the star that everybody at Arsenal knows he can become.'

Thanks Thierry, we never would have known.

Lol. Not worth the money mate. We'll just let the new king do them over when we play them!

the way theo took the ball down from a difficult clearance was impressive. without that touch the goal could not have been scored so it goes to show what happens when you buy quality.

Inded Gazzap. his first touch is one of the things Henry praised. An initial fee of £5M is a bargin. I wouldn't mind betting that part of the reason Theo didn't appear last season was because it woul have cost us more if he had.
