Arsenal Wait On Robin van Persie

Arsene Wenger was left sweating over the fitness of Arsenal striker, Robin van Persie, last night after the Dutchman hobbled of in the first half of the Carling cup quarter final with Doncaster.

Arsenal are already struggling with injuries, with Quincy, Cole, Clichy already out of action and also the possibility of Thierry Henry.

“Van Persie has a knock over his knee. I don’t know how long it will be for him but it looks quite swollen.”
