Goodbye 2006, Hello 2007
As I prepare for the new year celebrations in the Mustchin household, all that is left for me to do on Vital Arsenal in 2006 is wish our members a very happy new year.
2006 was an eventful year to be an Arsenal fan, many many massive games, Real Madrid, Juventus & Barcelona to name but a few, scandal, confusion and almost losing the most influencial player we've ever had. An emotional rollercoaster to say the least.
With Arsenal still in all 3 cup competitions, our indiffernt form and all the bit and bobs that goes hand in hand with being a football supporter, I'd hazzard a guess that 2007 will offer the same high and lows as 2006, lets just hope there's a bit of silverware at the end of this season.
Even before the clock strikes midnight and we welcome in the new year I already know 2007 will be an eventful year for me and my wife as I become a Daddy for the first time (little one due in the off season, how's that for planning :P) and hopefully we can mark the birth of our baby with a shiny trophy to celebrate just before he/she is due.
Once again I'd like to thank you all for your support and may the coming year bring you health, happiness and a sh*t load of goals.

"Class" is a fictional noun for that poor excuse of a team you have up at the SHL. Your xenophobic rants are a classic example of the deluded and twisted character of the idiots supporting that miserable second-rate club. Arsenal achieved and went beyond "class" as we won the title at your ground for the second time in our rich history without losing a single game in the EPL and breaking one of THE records in England. Arsenal is immortal, you are just another club, not much better than Sheffield. For all the Englishness in the rest of the Premiership that you so much like to spout about, there was none that stepped up and beat the Arsenal, until one of those staunch Englishmen went flying in the box Zokora-style. I know you would love for us to play in la Liga for one reason only - not having the taste of ****e in your mouths after all those Englishmen in your team received another lecture in modern football by Arsenal.

Oh, and I could lend you the DVD 'The official history of Arsenal FC' so you could perhaps have an insight of what "Class" means. But I would never do that of course.
