The Rumour Mill

The Rumour Mill

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, it has arrived - the transfer window is open.

There are plenty of rumours going around at the moment. I'll give you just some of them here.

Cassano to Arsenal - The moody Italian hasn't had the first team football he expected at Madrid. If reports are to be believed then Arsenal and AC Milan are interested in the striker.

Stokes to Charlton/Celtic - Young Stokes scored 16 goals in 18 games for Falkirk which has drawn attention from Scottish Champions Celtic and Premiership side Charlton.

Bale to Arsenal - The 17-year-old left-back has drawn plenty of attention with some outstanding freekicks. United, Chelsea, Liverpool and real Madrid are also thought to have shown an interest.

Fabregas to Madrid - It looks like it's going to a Vieira type scenario with Cesc, Real Madrid will show an interest in him every time the transfer window opens.

Lupoli to just about every Italian team - Llupoli's agent has confirmed that the little man will probably be returning to Italy in the summer. AC Milan, Fiorentina, Inter Milan, Torino and Napoli have all shown an interest in him.

Diawara to Arsenal - Midfielder Kaba Diawara is reported to be an Arsenal target, not much is known about him.

Ribery to Arsenal - The French midfielder has been linked with Arsenal for 2 seasons now, his outstanding performances at the World Cup have raised his stock and Real Madrid are also reported to be interested.

Ribery, eh? More Frenchmen. You're not getting Bale. Anyway, if your youth academy is "sooooo good" as your manager claims, why are you interested in him?

i think we like bale, cos walcott rates him and they are best mates .. so wenger had a look and liked what walcott said.. not sure about the rest, i think robery would be a good signing.

i've heard a rumour that arsenal are intending to play honest football without cheating, diving, conning referees, arguing, gouging, spitting, rolling about on the turf, and venger not mouthing off about the opposition being too physical..... just a rumour i'm afraid though!!! how many points at bramall lane eh? i'll remind you shall i? f*** all!!!!

we should just say to madrid let us keep baptista throw in cassano in january for nothing and let them keep reyes, done

(enough horsing around) - I would like to say that a certain Kaba Diawara played for the Arsenal in 1999 (if I am not mistaken). He was well known for hitting the post half a dozen times and then he was (phew) let go by the club and currently plays in Turkey.

hazza, I suggest we then sell Cassano to Chel$ea for 17 mil and get Ribery.
