'If It's Football, It's Vital'

The Rumour Mill

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, it has arrived - the transfer window is open.

There are plenty of rumours going around at the moment. I'll give you just some of them here.

Cassano to Arsenal - The moody Italian hasn't had the first team football he expected at Madrid. If reports are to be believed then Arsenal and AC Milan are interested in the striker.

Stokes to Charlton/Celtic - Young Stokes scored 16 goals in 18 games for Falkirk which has drawn attention from Scottish Champions Celtic and Premiership side Charlton.

Bale to Arsenal - The 17-year-old left-back has drawn plenty of attention with some outstanding freekicks. United, Chelsea, Liverpool and real Madrid are also thought to have shown an interest.

Fabregas to Madrid - It looks like it's going to a Vieira type scenario with Cesc, Real Madrid will show an interest in him every time the transfer window opens.

Lupoli to just about every Italian team - Llupoli's agent has confirmed that the little man will probably be returning to Italy in the summer. AC Milan, Fiorentina, Inter Milan, Torino and Napoli have all shown an interest in him.

Diawara to Arsenal - Midfielder Kaba Diawara is reported to be an Arsenal target, not much is known about him.

Ribery to Arsenal - The French midfielder has been linked with Arsenal for 2 seasons now, his outstanding performances at the World Cup have raised his stock and Real Madrid are also reported to be interested.

Ribery, eh? More Frenchmen. You're not getting Bale. Anyway, if your youth academy is "sooooo good" as your manager claims, why are you interested in him?
MerckZ
i think we like bale, cos walcott rates him and they are best mates .. so wenger had a look and liked what walcott said.. not sure about the rest, i think robery would be a good signing.
PUREGOLD
i've heard a rumour that arsenal are intending to play honest football without cheating, diving, conning referees, arguing, gouging, spitting, rolling about on the turf, and venger not mouthing off about the opposition being too physical..... just a rumour i'm afraid though!!! how many points at bramall lane eh? i'll remind you shall i? f*** all!!!!
drunkard bill
Rumors, rumours! The way it entertaines is like another live football match on the pitch. :)
SWPACIFIC
would love to see all those signings happen except for Mr fabregas walking away from the gunners which im sure he will not ... hope real madrid dont try pressuring us into a sale in the up and coming years ... they cant learn to clear off ???
Achilles
oh drunkard bill, shurrup will you, change the record, you lost on monday didn't you ? thing is we won't play you again, you're look better in the championship next season.. now go away...

we should just say to madrid let us keep baptista throw in cassano in january for nothing and let them keep reyes, done

(enough horsing around) - I would like to say that a certain Kaba Diawara played for the Arsenal in 1999 (if I am not mistaken). He was well known for hitting the post half a dozen times and then he was (phew) let go by the club and currently plays in Turkey.
G4L
hazza, I suggest we then sell Cassano to Chel$ea for 17 mil and get Ribery.
G4L
We could put Cassano in a Blue Man city shirt with Richards on the back then get 22 million minimum! Kenyon is so thick he will defo fall for it!
iceman10
how about put him in red again with Cole #3 and sell him (again) for another 20?
G4L
wouldnt mind cassano as it goes, if we got him for free, would much prefer ribery obviously becuase we need him.
hazzagooner
is real madrid chel$ea in disguise? now they are after ribery as well - the cnts
G4L
G4, if you think back more than 2 years Real set the template for Chelsea, this is nothing new! BTW, looking ahead to next year both our sides will be losing key players to the Africa Nations Cup, it will be interesting to see what players are brought in to mitigate the loss, after all United have no Africans in their starting 11.
Westl
what about the Buffon rumours? does anyone have any information about it?
luckys_10
i heard that Lehman on his way to Sevila and buffon, and cska goal keeper has been linked with us
afghenry
these guys cant just stop themselves from abusing us gooners.. only people who are born with a pathetic state of mind and suck in real life because htye know their team is no good can do that.. all know next year the title will be at the emirates..
go4it_adi
I would refer to Kaba Diawara (again) as the worst rumour on the list.
