Arsenal Takeover Sky!

This month sees The Arsenal make a formal bid to takeover Sky!

Ok so we are not exactly talking about the football club buying the satellite company, we are talking about the amount of games back to back each week being shown on Sky Sports.

Jan 13th EPL Blackburn Away 5:15pm PPV Sky
Jan 21st EPL Man Utd Home 4pm Sky Sports 1
Jan 24th Carling Cup Spurs Away 8pm Sky Sports 1
Jan 28th FA CUP Bolton Home 4pm Sky Sports 1
Jan 31st Carling Cup Spurs Home 8pm Sky Sports 1
Feb 3rd EPL Middlesbrough Away 5:15pm PPV Sky.
Feb 11th EPL Wigan Home 4pm Sky Sports 1

So from now for the next month we have a massive 7 games every month! Infact we are actually playing 4 of them in 10 days, but its nice to see sky showing a team that gives true entertainment, a team that in Sky's opinion is going places this year and showing the country just how good Wenger's kids and the first team are.

Now before I hear shouts of bias and Wenger will be whinging about the amount of games and schedule times etc. I will say this, we have this many games because we are a team on the rise again, and if you want to be in the silverware hunt then you will of course play allot more games than the teams who aren't. Wenger knows this and has the depth of squad to facilitate it.

So, on that note I am off to buy a pair of Joey & Chandler armchairs complete with Beer can cradles, sit back and enjoy a month of Sky Sports, when I am of course not attending the Ashburton Grove.

Really? You got me an armchair too? I'll see you on Saturday then. :P ....... It's good to see so many Arsenal games on tele, It's sickening when you have to sit and watch Chelsea, spurs and Blackburn all in one weekend... Here's to another 5 months of fixture congestion!
