'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Arsenal v Man Utd = War

This will be the first in a series of video's in the lead up to the massive clash between Arsenal and Man Utd at Ashburton Grove on Sunday.

As per Goonerholics latest article, Arsenal v Man Utd has been the biggest fixture in Premier League football of over the last ten years and is always a passionate affair, but as this video shows, there has been a history of 'war' for a little longer than that.

Arsenal were famously deducted 2 points in the 90/91 season after a brawl in the clash at Old Trafford, yet Arsenal went on to win the league, singing 'You can stick yer 2 points up yer arse'.

Over 12 years later a second incident occured after Paddy Vieira 'kicked' Ruud van Horseface and was sent off. Then, in the dying embers of the match, United 'won' a penalty, and we all know what happened next.

For the younger Gooners who read this site eagerly waiting to see what happened (as in the 90/91 incident)......lets move right along to the action.

Now I'm not condoning football violence on or off the pitch, but it certainly adds a little spice to an already firey fixture.

I can't watch the horse face. Any chance of changing to... they are all becoming more and more disgusting as Sunday is approaching...

The edge in this clash in the past few years has been amazing, though I think at OT, some of it was missing, what with both paddy and horseface gone !! Still it should be an 'interesting' game. Good stuff - it was entertaining to see the 91 video :).

i think keowns face is the funniest thing i saw in years, especially if you have heard him talk in an interview, he is well spoken and quiet and then you get him jumping around like an ape... hysterical
