Farewell Lauren & Good Luck

'Ralph' Lauren has moved to pastures new after leaving Arsenal and signing for Portsmouth.

Lauren has been an integral part of our squad for the past seven years, and will be missed by many.

Lauren has been out of action for donkey's years after suffering an injury that required surgery.

I'll leave the quotes to other sites, however I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank Ralph for his loyal service and menacing stare.

I'd also like to thank him for his penalties against Spurs, a huge hug for his challenge that sent Ronaldo flying 20 feet into the air,but most of all, I'd like to thank him for being a Gooner.

Good luck Ralph, take care!

Dont forget his Winner Vs the Chavs at Sticklebrick bridge in the FA cup Replay, Good luck Ralph gooner 4 ever!
will be sorely missed, no nonsense break your ankles type of guy, was lovely to have you hear at arsenal ralph and good luck !!
We welcome Lauren with open arms at Pompey. Maybe he can introduce himself to Ben Thatcher this Saturday. PS Let us know when Henry fancies a new challange. PPS Give the mancs a good kicking on Sunday.
Bye Ralph, good luck. Shame to see him go but he will be guarenteed 1st team football at Pompey. And yes storagematt, don't worry we'll hammer the mancs!!!! Come on you gunners!
Iceman, what made it sweeter he struck it with his left! I would like to join in the farewells and wish him the best in the future. Pity he joined another club in England, I hoped Arsenal would be his only English team, however I am sure Pompey gave him a good offer.
Left foot indeed! back int he days when you could take off your top to celebrate!
It's just a shame we have already played Pompy at home, an opportunity to say goodbye 'in person' would have been awesome!!
glad he didnt join west ham he deserves to join a better team because he is a qualty player
Damn shame, thanks Ralphy, is Pompey like a gunner retirement community or summit?
good luck lauren, thanks for everything uve done for us!!!
Ralph, ledge.
Little Dutch

really didnt want him too leave. the young ones still have much to learn hoytes attitude is tops i think he will be first choice in future if eboue doesnt get his head straight.

HtG, you are a donkey.
HtG, sorry you might have misunderstood me: you are a dokney
Some help here, why Ralph?

Lauren impressed me immensely whilst he was a Gunner! Wish him well for his career and future.
i am gutted he has left, great right back.. can't believe its been 7 years, but atleast he chose a good team in portsmouth than relegated threatened hammers !
i really wish he could of had one game at the emirates to get the farewell he truely deserves, 7 years of top professionalism and performances, suprised he chose pompey, there a good side but if reports were to be believed lyon and the like were also chasing his services, anyway good luck but, gunner through and through !!
it's sad to see so many of our legends of the past title winning sides leave in the last two years. and like all of them, you'll be missed to ralph, good luck, we love you..
best right back gone. hmmm
Jacky B
What a class act... I'd have thought he's going to be missed but hey, Arsene knows...
kenny lunt
Sad to see him go especially without a fairwell appearance. Tho am I the only one that thinks that letting him go to Pompey (only 5 points behind us!!!) may be a big mistake??? I'm not one to question Arsene... I just hope this doesn't come back to bite us in the ar$e at the end of the season. Good luck Ralph!!!
I'm reading that Gallas is still 2 weeks away from finess. That's been 2 months now for an injury that was gonna keep him out for 2 weeks originally!!! Anyone know what's going on here???
yeah, Chelsea sold you a Lamo
Jacky B
Yeah but look at the greedy little ***** they got in return!!! At least we got 5M as well haha
Gotta agree - up until the injury it looked like you got much the better deal - and when he returns that will still be the case.
Jacky B
Jacky, are you really a Spurts fan??? You do seem far too literate to be one. Why not come and join a team that plays great football and can actually win things??? Hahaha
Good to see so many kind words from Arsenal fans. Lets hope he gets that sort of respect from Pompey fans now.
he was a top professional for the Arsenal and if he can produce the consistency and form he displayed during his stay here, Pompey will have made a great transfer.
cya, u were great!
