dun worr yguys, we'll get two goals back, wenger needs to make three substitutions right at halftime, flamini and hleb for denilson and walcott whos been not at his best so far, and hoyte switching to left back and eboue on, or even eboue at leftback to cope with the pace of lennon. he'll do a better job than hoyte. COME ON YOU GUNNERS, this one's not over..
hahaha was there ever a doubt, they're never gonna beat us in the next hundred years, this was their chance and they blew it once again :d..
hahaha baptista with another hatrick
Ozi Gooner
hahahaha did they actually believe they would win? what a joke the spuds are.
lol really ozi we actually scored three goals in the match, so technically we won ;)..
2-0 and you facked it up 2-0 and you facked it up, took their full squad with da kids at their place, Buggerov was so knackered he had to go off after scoring, and Robbo hahahahahahahahahahaha what a bunch of *****ters
next week is going to be so much fun, with henry and co. coming back, guys i'm feeling a little bit sorry for them, they must be wondering, just what do we have to do to beat The Mighty Arsenal :d..
hehehe really, but i hope eboue and hleb ain't seriosuly injured..
Man of the match has to go to England's no. 1. What a fantastic goalkeeper.
Two nil, and they ****ed it up, two nil, and they ****ed it up
Ozi Gooner
wonder where the spurs fans are????????
did u see the difference when eboue & hleb came on, we completely ripped them. Too bad they got injured or i'm sure we would have won
brilliant game. 2-0 down, sp*rs signing 2-0 to the England and then The Beast strikes again! 2-0 and they ****ed it up!!! Shame about Jeremie, Hleb & Eboue - lets just hope they're OK. Diaby is OK, just tired. Eboue didn't look too bad but Hoyte can ably cover for him if need's be. It's Hleb and Jeremie that's a concern. Possibilities of recalling any of our loan players? Plus Fabregas needs a break. Regardless, another great game and we've got Sunday AND Wednesday to look forward to! It's a GREAT time to be a Gooner!!
theo shud have smashed that shot over the burger eater, the spuds fans wud have left the country after that..
Not only have them boys got talent they also have heart. Great Performance by the young lads and Wenger will play them in the 2nd leg as he wont risk losing the likes of Henry etc to injuries as he did Eboue and Hleb, especially with the champions league not far off. Whatever happens we showed tonight our Reserves are as good as Sp*rs 1st team, no arguments.
yep, what a performance !! Things looked dire for us, till the 50th minute or so. Spurs actually had our measure till then, but I felt that they were going to tire in the last quarter, coz of the pace they were playing the game at. And what a comeback !! Baptista should have had a hat trick, if he had put away that easy chance at the end of the 1st half !! Anyway great attitude, but we had 13 corners and could do nothing with any of them. Wish we could have.
I think there must be something wrong with spurs pitch. We ended up with 3 injured players & spurs lost barbie-tov & seemed to lose Aaron Lemon at the end. I just hope Eboue & Hleb are not out with hamstring problems or it will mean missing both for 3 weeks minimum................I think Fat Jol was crying towards the end!!
Ashburton Gooner
what you talking about prits? baptista did score a hat trick, all in the same goal!! anyway poor aliadiere,he looked very upset to come off injured, with rvp out it was going to be his big chance
fran merida
Atleast we have 5 good strikers, so we can still rotate one.
thenry009 Spurs fans....what were the odds!!
if Berbatov was on the pitch for the full 90 minutes i can guarantee all you arsenal fans that the result would have been much different. DI-MI-TAR BER-BATOV, DI-MI-TAR BER-BATOV!!!
Glad for the beast, he really fought well after the own goal and he picked the first goal with determination! And I was impressed with the ability of denlison. I found it funny match! esp. when tottenham fans went mad at the beginning of the 2ed half as if they did qualify to the champions league lol! And when England No.1 held the ball after the first arsenal goal makes u know what very tiny team they are! Very good performance. Those kids deserve to be in the final!
Gooner SA
but he wasnt, ifs and buts want win you a trophy
Ozi Gooner
OneAaronLennon. So you are one-man team, huh ?! Berbatov, Never heard that name when you played us at the grove! you cant even beat our reserve with your first 11 in your home! when i see tottenham i feel how much im lucky to be GOONER!
Gooner SA
even if it is just the mickey mouse cup
Ozi Gooner
also i wouldnt be to proud of the fact that the rest of the first team couldnt do it against the kids, thats not a good sign of things to come. theres only two teams in north london, and neither of them are tottenham
Ozi Gooner
you say we went mad like we qualified for the champions league, but unlike your crap fans who we don't hear until 20 mins to go when you get your 1st goal, the Spurs fans know how to support their team, i was nearly deafened by how loud it was!!! And also unlike Arsenal fans, Spurs fans still get behind their team even after the dissapointment of frustration of conceding 2 goals!!!
whateva. i must admit i wasnt there but i could only hear arsenal fans in the last twenty minutes on the tv, that didnt sound like getting behind your boys when they conceded 2 goals
Ozi Gooner
Have you seen those idiots with Barcelona shirts?! They don’t even have confidence in their team! Have You ever heard the CL anthem in the lane ?!
Gooner SA
Gooner SA, i think the barcelona shirts were an insult to us. reminder of the CL final
Ozi Gooner
They have resorted to name calling of the worst kind on the sp*rs site. a lot of frustration over there I feel. If there is any justice in the world we will be at cardiff come this time next week.
i know Ozi Gooner! i still cant see arsenal fan wearing Grimsby Town shirt!
Gooner SA
or a leicester one!
yeah im not saying it makes sense, but you have to think of it from there sad point of view. they cant beat us, even our kids, so wear the shirts of a team who can. sad logic really, bet they paid for them especially for tonight to
Ozi Gooner
The thing is nike make Barca's kit and for nike to make money they have to sell kits etc. When Nike make money they then can spend money offering kit deals to..............Arsenal! so we can at least thank the sp*rs fans that purchased them for putting money in the coffers!
one lemmon, are they the same spurtz who was supporting the tiny tots at the grove, when you went 3-0 down and left the ground with 20 minutes to go
fran merida
yeah it was loud from your fans when you were 2-0 up,but it was all groans and moans after the final whistle
fran merida
"theres only two teams in north london, and neither of them are tottenham" - LOL, the line of the night there...and as far as support goes I read Martin Jol was getting booed at the end by his own fans, which is pretty pathetic if you ask me. It isn't his fault Berbatov got injured, nor is it his fault that Wenger is a master tactician, though it has to be said the changes he made were as much due to injury as it was strategy. Anyway Tottenham had a chance to grab this tie by the throat and they blew it could get ugly for them at the Grove next week.
ahh these spu*s never cease to disappoint themselves, i reckon the only reason i watch these anymore is to get a laugh, like when they lost newcastle haha
Ozi Gooner
Unable to shut the door at 2-0 up I predict Martin Joll panicing into the transfer window to buy a couple of Midfielders.
Fran - i stand corrected. Baptista DID score a hat trick :)
OI LENNON!!! Where were you when you were at the Grove? I was sat right next to you I didn't hear a peep when it was nil nil, in fact some of you buggered off at half time, and even more still with 20 minutes to. Yeah!! Great Support!! Mug.
