More Injury Worries

Both Emmanuel Adebayor and Emmanuel Eboue face fitness tests ahead of Arsenal`s trip up to 'Boro.

Eboue suffered an ankle injury during the 2-2 draw with Spu*s last week while Adebayor picked up a knee injury during the 3-1 demolition of spurs on Wednesday.

Speaking after the victory over Spurs Wenger said: "Adebayor has been touched at his knee." We will see how he reacts later.

"Eboue had a test this morning and will have one tomorrow morning. We`ll make a decision after training then."

Meanwhile William Gallas (thigh), Freddie Ljungberg (hamstring), Alex Hleb (hamstring) and Julio Baptistia (groin) will all miss the game with Boro.

FFS, what is it with all the injuries? It appeared that that had all blown over when we got 99% of our squad fit, and that lasted all of one game. Now we only have two fit strikers. Aliadiere, it's your time to shine son!

It must be the blinking weather in North London mate
rads
im glad Adebayor is out, we will likely play Ali on the right of a 451 with TH14 up front Saturday - shame Baptista is out i would love to see how him and Henry do together for 90 minutes
bootoo
damn are we ever going to have a fit striker . . . possible strike line up could be henry and his understudy . . .walcott! or aliadiere
abdleb
does anyone have any news on traore,i heard it was really bad,not as bad as cashleys hole though
fran merida
For Eboue, Hoyte is doing well tho. Ade is the one we must worry about, as he is such hard working felow.
vitdacnet
bootoo, you're glad adebayor is out?!?! WTF?
G4L
I hope denilson gets a chance on play on the right against boro since he did really well against sp*rs.
thenry009
I actually think it will be fun to see TH14 and Alialialialialialiadaire up front together for a game. They both have pace and skill, I could really see defenders put under pressure with some long runs and one-twos.
devvil
These late injury news ain't good. Why is Gallas' "mysterious" injury dragging on for this long?
SWPACIFIC
and we have a new injury aswell Diaby is also injured, why most of Arsenal players get injured than any other team in the EPL?? it is a huge crisis,, we should start Ali and Henry up front and Theo on the bench as a Striker Denilson might have a role to play against Boro!
afghenry
Ali it'll be with no Bap or Ade, massive game tomorrow if we're looking to finish any higher than 4th, big ask to play an in form team away having been taken to 120 mins midweek, early Arsenal goal would be niiiice.
nikolaijns
G4L - yes, i am not a fan of the guy at all, i can understand why wenger plays him, he has done well for us in the 4-5-1 battles againsts the bully boy teams, but otherwise the guy isnt good enough to wear the cannon on his shirt
bootoo
I'd have him in my team anyday, work ethic is unrelenting, scorer of VITAL goals this season, a real team player someone who inspires positivity and lifts morale, I feel he has a massive future with us.
nikolaijns
Flamini has been a scorer of Vital goals, i dont see requests to rest cesc or gilberto and play him adebayor does give 100% for us every second he is on the pitch, the problem is his 100% is only equal to TH14's 70%, vanPs 90% - he simply isnt good enough - as a squad player yes, wenger has picked a good guy to work as a target man in case the long ball is needed using a 4-5-1 formation, in a 442 play aliadiare, revert to a 4-5-1 with henry up front and flood the midfield with our creative attacking players - adeybaor should be a last resort
bootoo
C'mon bootoo 88tth min away against Wigan without which we were heading for a draw, 86th min at Old Trafford, opening goal against the filth in the league and in the 2nd leg of cc last wed, when he first arrived a lot of us were far from convinced, his control was'nt all that and he seemed a bit 'Crouchy' but I think his form and confidence has improved and at 22 will continue to do so.
nikolaijns
I agree he misses like 4 out of 5 chances to score. But atleast he creates a lot of chances & eventually puts one away.
thenry009
Adebayor,Toure and Fab are the only players who give their 100% per game
afghenry
Saturdays game change anyones mind of adebayor? could have scored if not flagged offside, was used as a target man to head down a ball for henry to score, both of these took what, 2 minutes? what happened with the other 88 minutes? if we need a target man, he is the best we have, otherwise PLEASE give someone else a shot
