After dispatching Sparta Prague in the CL qualifiers, Arsenal have been drawn with thier bitter rivals, Slavia Prague.

The Gunner's also look set to face the mourning Sevilla, although the Spainish outfit still have to seal the tie, although they are 2-0 from the first leg.

Wigan should be in there

As what? Extra stewards at the Man Utd - Roma game?
Rocky7
Lol.. Rocky, don't suppose you know which group spuds were drawn in? I've tried vital fantasty spurs but they don't know, they all seem lost bit like their midfield up against Fabregas. I even asked Vital Chelski seeing as we both now how Russain investors :D

I thought the lillywhites were in it? can`t see there names anywhere? Note to Spurs fans wait till the fat lady sings or you have more points than a triangle!

Group F is definitely the toughest

No story about the new Arsevisky ?
k_chelski
not a bad group .. although sevilla would be tough ... i would have been happier if we drew lyon or psv .. regarding the new arsevisky, i've put a couple of posts on my blog .. incl. a li'l intell on his background and the statement from his company ... **Site link removed, ask if you want your site linked, spamming will not be tolerated.** [Edited by pmust]

Or Arsenov? Can't decide on a name...

not a bad group. was at sevilla at the weekend, when puerta collapsed. they are a quality side. My favourite spanish team. For beating the spuds, for Ramos rejecting them as well and cause they play good football, try to play like arsenal realy but wider! looking forward to that match. Slavia Prague should be ok. Bucharest could be difficult, but nothing arsenal cant manage! pretty good draw.

R.I.P Antonio Puerta

It could have been a worse group - alot worse. Sevilla if we get them will be emotional for Cesc, I fancy Bucharest at home but a draw away and we should spank Prague who are frankly no-where near as good as Sparta are (although on last night's performance they couldn't be worse). I rate us to go through overall though. As for us becoming Arsenalski - it's kind of different when the shoe is on the other foot. After such a quiet summer, it would be nice if we could buy Ronaldinho.... A Gas/Mineral Billionarire, a London Fund Manager and a Chaiman with £75m freshly deposited in his pocket? There's worse owners I can think of, especially when oyu read Dein's comments carefully. Nothing will happen this season to de-stabilise the club, but by the end of the season, I can see this comming off. Chtob vse byli zdorovy as they say in Russia!

Of course, RIP Antonio Puerta and also Rhys Jones - has anyone yet managed to understand how on earth a 15 year old kid gets hold of a gun?

Excellent champions league draw. I fancy the team to gain even more confidence through the group stages. If we can maintain the momentum in the Prem Lge we could have a succesful autum for a change.
Red3
I believe we have the easyest group. What do you all reckon?
gunnerkid107
We all know that there are no easy games in the CL, as we learned against the mighty FC Thun a couple of seasons ago, amongst others, but on the other side of the coin I can't say that I'm dissapointed with the draw either 8-)
flv
see you in Prague fellas!!
G4L
Brat Sparta 5-0 agg. Slavia should be easier, still gotta take it seriously. Every other group has 3 hard teams. Group E AND F LOL, Especially E. Rangers will get 1 point maximum from Barca, Lyon (champs in france) and Stuggart (champs in germany). LOL. Man utd either finishing 1st or 4th.

I hope TR7 doesnt find playing 2 games against aganst Slavia as a weird experience, we will need him to be raring to go and firing on all cylinders (insert your chosen extra clichés here) against them if selected... hopefully it being against sparta's rivals, he would be going at them hell-for-leather... »»Arsene Knows««

Lovin it! Can't wait. All the matches are tough, but I think we did good guys
darinb007
Group B and C are tough, but F has got to be the toughest.
stukazufuss
I think Arsenal have a good group to go through from. Sevilla are the only real contenders and matches against them will be interesting. I'm not under-estimating the rest, but with the quality of Arsenal, you'd expect the team to go through.
prits
Man U will find the group hard
afghenry
Brilliant draw, great away trips, gutted i've missed the flights for Bucharest. More fool me.
AFC85Lew
ok, of course its a brillant draw, if u want something to complain about, look at grp B and C. Group E stinks too. kindda strange without Bayern Munich no? they are e ULTIMATE dark horses
korodon
most difficult would be chelski's or chelscum's or whatever pleasent names u call them i guess.. while inter will have a hard time with cska awaya and psv.. cant see slavia or bucharest putting up a challenge.. so its pretty mich sevilla and us to progress. with ofcourse.. us to top the group.. what with the amount of quality we have.. its not gonna be a problem!! look at loserfool's group.. sucks!! should get flat 18 points.. but then.. they are loserfool.. can expect anything.. probably 11 men behind ball defending against besiktas at home in europe!!
