Alex Hleb Is Spitting Chunks

Alex Hleb looks set to miss the home clash against Portsmouth after falling ill.

The wiley winger joins the ever growing injury list, as Wenger confirmed at his press conference yesterday.

"We have Eboue, Gallas, Sagna and Lehmann out, There may be Alex Hleb as well. We`ll have a test on him on Saturday. He is not injured, he is ill." said Wenger.

Hleb has been excellent so far this season, but if Walcott can reproduce the form he showed midweek, we'll have no worries.

If we can build Theo's confidence during this early part of the season it can only help! He still lifts the crowd each time he gets the ball - if he can start to do more with oe even score at home then the place should take off!

Sagna should be fit for this one, and lets hope young Theo finds his feet (and the goal) soon. His guile and vision still needs work but its early days yet. Come on you reds!

I don't think Sagna will play, I can see the team looking something like: Almunia, Hoye, Toure, Senderos, Clichy, Walcott, Fabregas, Flamini, Rosicky, Adebayor, Eduardo. I think RvP has looked shattered and with Ade needing match practice and Eduardo full of confidence because of his goal it should be an easy decision

Shattered??? We've only played 5 games.

You make me feel ill! :D Im sure Arsene said Theo aint playing, but im sure he will now as/if Hleb is injured. Maby Diaby?
Goofle
Why no Gilberto SG? In any case, I hope Hleb is absent only in the short term, coz he was making some really good progress, improving even further on a few things he did well last season.
