Arsenal Draw Newcastle In The Cup

Arsene Wenger will look to take his young Gunners one step further in this seasons Carling Cup.

Arsenal start their run with a home (first for a few years) tie against Fat Sam's Newcastle United after a draw was made that saw many Premiership pairings.

The Gunners narrowly lost last seasons final after the young Arsenal side rang the Lotto Chavs ragged.

The spuds have an interesting draw. Mido`s revenge on the cards. As for the Magpies we`ll let the kids do there thing I guess.

Good to have a home game, it can only benefit the reserves team which will line up against Newcastle. Should be a good game and I'm hoping the Arsenal kids go one better this season.
