Daily Mail in Utter B*ll*cks Shocker

Mondays are a funny old day - you wake up after the weekend a little bit rusty, trying to get your bearings after the weekend beers/wine, and it can take a while.

This appears to be the case at the Daily Mail on this given monday because they reckon that Wet Sham will be making a January swoop for the highly-rated, if somewhat full-of-himself young Dane, Nicklas Bendtner.

How delightful. Maybe tomorrow they will run a story about how Arsene will tell to eff off.

No disrespect intended to the 'appy 'ammers, but Bendtner is a player who has been coveted by AC Milan in the past, I can't see him jumping ship to play for The Irons.

You will recall last week Bendtner's proclamation about wanting a showdown with Arsene about why he has not been playing.

He's a player of undoubted potential, and there's nothing wrong with assuredness in your own ability, as long as it doesn't spill over into being a runaway ego.

Maybe he'd be better served by waiting for his chance - a little bit of patience, Nicklas, your moment will arrive. And when it does, let your football do the talking, instead of your mouth. You're a fantastic prospect, just hang in there - a lot of us Gooners believe you've got something special, and we're excited to see what you can do.

Hehe, utter ********* indeed. This rumour does not make any sense, at any level. He just needs to sit tight and wait for his chance, which will surely come in the Carling Cup.
prits
The article on the following page was an even more dramatic "CREWE WANT WENGER AND FABREGAS" shocker.
hatespur
as if tney need more strikers anyway. look at aliadiere. rubbish. utter rubbish
korodon
Aliadiere is at 'Boro.
hatespur
Ali is doing okay at Boro he just cant score, which funnily enough was the exact problem he had with us lol. Bendtner just needs to wait his turn, he seems a very impatient lad. He is still a teenager for goodness sakes.
hazzagooner
he has looked very good each time he's come on this season, I think he'll be getting much more than just Carling Cup gametime this season.

LOL hatespur...for bendnter, "Patience is a virtue".

Even if you read the press coverage, the content was just that the kid wanted to ask the boss why he didn't get to play. But the headlines were all along the lines of "Bendtner demands showdown talk" or "tell me why I was axed". Even if this thing is true, maybe, just maybe, it's that the kid wants to know how he could get more first team football. You know the press. But yeah the kid does look a bit impatient, maybe he thinks he should be getting the same amount of chances as Theo who's 1 year younger than him. Don't know.
Louisa
The reports while he was at Birmingham when he "demanded" to be in the first team squad for this coming season all eminated from his dad, who is his agent. Maybe we'll have another Anelka on our hands. Giving bad advice to teenagers rarely works out well.
FAB 4
I tried to give a teenager some good advice once and she slapped me round the chops.
hatespur
he's contracted for 5 years, so he's got no power.
korodon
Adebayor and RvP did wait, and Eduardo is waiting, for their chance to break into the first team. Why should Bendtner be any different? Is he more talented than RvP? Don't think so. Patience and respect for the boss' decision is part of the game too and he'd better start learning that.
Louisa
one virtue our team has shown in the last few years is that the young players have coped well when put in the deep end, sometimes called upon to fill in gaps due to injuries to key players (when other pundits predict they will crumble, instead they have provide solidarity). so why not throw NB in some league games and see how he copes. we shouldnt curve hunger in our young players. i say put bendtner in and see if he sinks or swim.
supersof
i can't wait to see Havard Nordtveit play. he looks like a great defender.
mustaz
arsene knows
korodon
i never understood why Brum didn't try and make his move permanent!
