Wenger joy at Seville win (AUDIO)

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says although the scoreline flattered his side, he's delighted that his young side got off to such a confident start against arguably the most improved side in Europe, as his young Guns began their Champions League Group H in emphatic style, beating the UEFA Cup winners of the last two years Seville.

There was a massive 'feel-good' factor coming out of the ground last night. The boys have been brilliant so far this season.

I agree hatespur. The fans were good too and it's early days but what a start to the season. Can't wait for Saturday.

I still don't think we'll win the C.L or the premiership. But top 2 and a decent run should be considered a major + this season after losing Henry. I just hope expectation doesn't start to get daft.

If they keep playing with the same spirit, don't get too many injuries and have some more luck along the way and who knows we might hopefully win either the EPL or CL. Though it does not seem likely.

Agreed HS, I think it's one season too early for us this year, but we will challenge. I can see Liverpool sneaking the league this year.

its hard not to feel smug with the team doing so well, on top of the crises surrounding our esteemed neighbours. but how do you think we'll cope if either fabregas/rvp gets injured plus the impending ACN. we dont have the depth of say liverpool to challenge on all fronts so do u see any transfer in january?

Yeah, we're letting our expectations go up a little higher than we should, and a little moderation on that front wouldnt be all that bad.

With us banging in 3 goals in each of our last four games its safe to say any feared goal drought with the exit of whatsisname is not going to materialise, this was (even with the way our season is taking shape) a result that exceeds all my sexpectations, absolutely fanbluddytastic, when shaolin Master Wenger took his young apprentices aside pre season and said to them 'now is your time grasshoppers' they did'nt doubt him for a minute.
