'If It's Football, It's Vital'

It's Stoke Or The Barcodes

Arsenal have been given a rare home tie but must wait to find out who their FA Cup 4th round opponents will be after being paired with either Stoke City or the hapless Newcastle United.

The Gunners rather fortuitously beat lower league Burnley at Turf Moor yesterday whilst Stoke City held Newcastle to a bore draw at home.

In other cup news, Tottenham's dream FA Cup year came to an end after drawing Manchester United away, assuming they can get past Reading first

FA Cup 4th round draw in full:-
Arsenal v Stoke City/Newcastle
Coventry v Walsall/Millwall
Oldham v Huddersfield Town
Swindon/Barnet v Fulham/Bristol Rovers
Wigan v Chelsea
Luton/Liverpool v Swansea/Havant & Waterlooville
Southend v Barnsley
Southampton v Norwich/Bury
Man Utd v Tottenham/Reading
Portsmouth v Plymouth
Derby/Sheff Wed v Preston
Watford vWolves
Peterborough v Charlton/West Brom
Sheff Utd v West Ham/Man City
Mansfield v Middlesbrough
Tranmere/Hereford v Cardiff

Ties to be played on 26 & 27 January

lol at Spurs, couldn't have happened to a worse team! I think we've got a good draw there and can see Wenger playing the Cup side again - he's learnt from past seasons when the first team . It's going to be a busy period for them were burnt out for important games towards theend of the season. Plus, this gives people like Gilberto, Bendtner, Denilson etc the playing time they are asking for. Bendtners goal yesterday was classic Bergkamp/Ljungberg and something we haven't seen for quite sometime. Nick took his chance brilliantly and I think we can safely say that we have now got 4 quality strikers at our disposal - and with Theo waiting in the wings to finally grow up - the future is certainly bright!

BTW, not sure if this is aloud on this forum, but if any season ticket holders don't want to go to this (or you know anyone who doesn't), I'm happy to pay for two tickets so I can take my missus along for this game.

Michael - check the ticket section of the forum, there always seems to be some gooners who are happy to help on there.

***** I hope Stoke beat Newcastle, having to look at Allardyce's mug four times for two seasons in a row is too much for my eyes to bare.

I want the bar-codes. Arsenal will slap the cocky twit of a manager Sam Allardyce and get him the sack.

nikolaijns, maybe that pic was shot when Bendtner was going to do the *****ing sign towards the spud fans.

ScottDaYid, I could say the same of your spud reporters. One reporter stated Arsenal is "struggling" and we are only on top of the league because our first six games (including you spuds) were easy. If we are "struggling", what can we say about your team?

Even if you get past Reading, any person with a brain won't fancy your team beating Man Utd at Old Trafford, especially if the likes of Ronaldo and Rooney are playing.

I'm pretty sure the pic shows Niklas in the final step of Bruce Lee's famous "Claw of the Tiger" move, as he has just stamped his foot into Robbie Keane's groin... Enough of that though... Hopefully Stoke will have sent Allardyce scrambling for a new job by the time we play the 4th round.

I'm glad Big Sam can finally be shown for what he is. He is a great manager but the media machine in this country is ruthless. They'll hype you up and then destroy you. Big Sam was grossly over-rated. Newcastle were never the best team for him. His a route one merchant and they want "sexy football", Arsene what have you done?!

I will prefer we get Stoke..just not looking forward to see Sam again at Emirates, the one game remaining for EPL is enough. May be we will let Stoke play like Burnley and make it an entertaining game after all..;)
