It's Stoke Or The Barcodes

Arsenal have been given a rare home tie but must wait to find out who their FA Cup 4th round opponents will be after being paired with either Stoke City or the hapless Newcastle United.

The Gunners rather fortuitously beat lower league Burnley at Turf Moor yesterday whilst Stoke City held Newcastle to a bore draw at home.

In other cup news, Tottenham's dream FA Cup year came to an end after drawing Manchester United away, assuming they can get past Reading first

FA Cup 4th round draw in full:-
Arsenal v Stoke City/Newcastle
Coventry v Walsall/Millwall
Oldham v Huddersfield Town
Swindon/Barnet v Fulham/Bristol Rovers
Wigan v Chelsea
Luton/Liverpool v Swansea/Havant & Waterlooville
Southend v Barnsley
Southampton v Norwich/Bury
Man Utd v Tottenham/Reading
Portsmouth v Plymouth
Derby/Sheff Wed v Preston
Watford vWolves
Peterborough v Charlton/West Brom
Sheff Utd v West Ham/Man City
Mansfield v Middlesbrough
Tranmere/Hereford v Cardiff

Ties to be played on 26 & 27 January

lol at Spurs, couldn't have happened to a worse team! I think we've got a good draw there and can see Wenger playing the Cup side again - he's learnt from past seasons when the first team . It's going to be a busy period for them were burnt out for important games towards theend of the season. Plus, this gives people like Gilberto, Bendtner, Denilson etc the playing time they are asking for. Bendtners goal yesterday was classic Bergkamp/Ljungberg and something we haven't seen for quite sometime. Nick took his chance brilliantly and I think we can safely say that we have now got 4 quality strikers at our disposal - and with Theo waiting in the wings to finally grow up - the future is certainly bright!

BTW, not sure if this is aloud on this forum, but if any season ticket holders don't want to go to this (or you know anyone who doesn't), I'm happy to pay for two tickets so I can take my missus along for this game.

Michael - check the ticket section of the forum, there always seems to be some gooners who are happy to help on there.

***** I hope Stoke beat Newcastle, having to look at Allardyce's mug four times for two seasons in a row is too much for my eyes to bare.
