Wenger To Crash Spurs Party?

Wenger To Crash Spurs Party?

I'm not usually one for printing rumours but this one is quite interesting.

After Boro released a statement that they had agreed a few with Tottenham Hotspur for Johnathan Woodgate, reports are that another club has come in at the 11th hour to try and hijack the move.

Of course with Tottenham being the front runners for Woodgate's signature, the only possible rivals for the player could be Arsenal Football Club. Because it would just be too funny.

Woodgate's talent is undeniable, his proneness to injury would be a worry.

However this rumour is probably to be taken with a pinch of salt, but it would bring a smile to my face should it materialise.

Wenger has already said that this story is junk on the official website. And really: a 28 year old, injury-prone englishman? Hardly sounds like a Wenger signing. Typical for Spurs though - he can partner King on the physio table...

I think it might be true. AW's transfer comments are usually always refusals, he never openly states he's after anyone. Woodgate would be good for us. I know he's forever injured but when he's not, he is quality.

United away, you've gotta laugh. All those stadiums left that we never get a chance to visit, and we get this. Rubbish.

And we play Manu well what a match?

can't believe we got the toughest opponent and liverpool and chelsea both got Barnsley and Huddersfield at home...

Mind you, it's not like Chelsea to get an easy home draw is it? With both sides wanting anything other than a replay and with the CL first leg ties following the game that midweek, I would be surprised to see Adebayor, Fabregas, Rooney and Ronaldo starting this game.
