'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Wenger glee at going top (AUDIO)

Arsenal reclaimed top spot in the Premier League after a resounding 3-1 win over Manchester City at Eastlands. Emmanuel Adebayor's 10th & 11th goals in his last eight matches sandwiched an exquisite volley on the turn by Eduardo and in reality it could have been so much more had they not put themselves under pressure by allowing the home side to get one back in the first half just seconds after doubling their lead.

The Gunners' were on top form and showed real mettle as Adebayor's second of the match clinched victory with 2 minutes to go.

Manager Arsene Wenger was naturally delighted to go back to the top of the table.
