'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Return Of The Van Man

Arsene Wenger recieved a massive fitness boost this afternoon when it was revealed that Robin Van Persie is fit and will travel with the Arsenal squad to Milan.

The Dutchman hasn't played regular football since last september when he injured his knee ligaments playing for the Dutch national team.

Since then he has made two attempts to come back, but has fallen foul of injury on both occassions.

He'll not start for Arsenal, but he'll be a very welcome sub. At least for the visiting team!

Match preview to follow this evening.

Hopefully he can stay fit for the remainder of the season and can help us win a trophy

i hope that we won't have to use him tomorrow.

Hopefully we'll use him only when necessary.

Robin's return could be most timely, to get through this rocky pacth we need to be more ruthless in front of goal, and I can't think of any striker more deadly. If he stays fit till the end of the season, we might just hold on!!!

I hope he'll stay on the bench tbh. To have him there alone would also give the team some kind of psychological boost hopefully. (If that'd work, we could put a Kolo dummy there too lol) If he stays fit for the remaining part of the season, that's a Godzilla-sized if but I'm hopeful.

OLE OLE OLE Ive been waiting for him to return for so long!!!

this is ood for our morale...i still remember his goal against inter like it was yesterday.

This is good news for the season end, but he's got to be rusty with the lack of match practice. If we need him tonight, it would mean that we're already *****ed.
prits
..hey prits and wybi are they showing the game on tensports......did u guuys vote...

dear santa, if you're reading this, all i want this xmas is a fit RVP. cheers.

I'm surprised he didn't play any part yesterday. I thought that he'd come on late in the game. Oh well, guess its best not to risk these fragile dutchmen... Real Madrid seem willing to take them off Premiership hands though if you want to sell him...

can't wait to see this guy back...I honestly believe if he can play to his pontential and the rest carry on with what they have been doing . we can achieve something very special....He is the kind of player that when he has the ball and has sight of goal...you are confident where it is going to end up !!!
radar
Yeah, he's got great skill and technique. Unfortunately, he's as injury prone as Robben was. Unless he sorts that out, he'll struggle to get recognition as a true great.
