Arsenal Boys Back At Wembley

Arsenal may be out of the FA Cup, but it's nice to see some of the old guard will be back on the big stage after Portsmouth's smash and grab job at Old Trafford today.

Pompey marched into the semi-finals of the FA Cup today after a late penalty awarded the Arsenal retirement village the spoils.

Tony Adams, Sol Campbell, and 'Ralph' Lauren have all been to major semi-finals and finals with the Gunners, and even short stay midfielder Lassana Diarra enjoyed the occasion at Old Trafford.

Portsmouth are a distinctly likable club with an equally likable manager, and I hope the go on to win the oldest club competition in the world.

Good to see Uncle Tony and some of the more recent gooners get a win at old trafford. Well done Pompey, although I think they could've done a bit more damage and played in some of those free kicks to test Ferdinand. Well done Pompey.

Good on yer Pompey - would be great to see 'arry come away with some reward for they way he plays the game. I would have preferred a replay, and then a Pompey win, in all honesty but I'll take a crocked 1st choice keeper and a suspended 2nd choice keeper as some compensation.

Haven't United just yesterday let Foster go out on loan as well? Interesting to see what happens there,I'd wager they'll patch Edwin up.

Serves Man Utd right for the cockiness shown against Arsenal. They hv to learn to respect other professionals especially when they are having an off day. I did not see Nani messing around today???

did u guys hear this story, it seems pompey officials wanted to speak to their man u counterparts reagrding arrangements if a replay were neccessarry, manu officials were quite insistent that there would be no need for nething like.......well hu is laughing now.....go pompey!!!

Wish Pompey the best of luck! Afraid they'd draw Chelsea in the next round. But judging from Chelsea's luck on the other hand, they'll get Bristol. Fight on Pompey!
