Big Phil Confident Of Title

Big Phil Senderos says there is no crisis of confidence in the Arsenal camp.

The Gunners have surrendered their 5 point lead over United in three games, with draws against Birmingham, Villa and Wigan.

However the massive defender says the confidence is still there.

'There is no dent in our confidence. It is sky-high,' he said in The Sun.

'We are top at the moment and will continue to believe we can go on until the end of the season.'

Well I'm glad someone is still confident big fella..

He has been a massive player for us in the last 4 weeks. If all the players can step up to the level he is now on, we don't have to worry.

Ha Ha he's still dreaming. wenger's pirioty is the CL I think ... Big gamble.

drawing 3 games in a row esspecially against wigan and b'ham was really poor of arsenal, you should try to play as hard as you can and slam the title door closed

Ok we've had a blip. Happens to everyone. Fact is, we have Boro on saturday. Focus on that. If we thump them (we need to for our GD, as even points is getting more and more likely), like we should (hopefully with RvP getting back in the goals), then it brings us nicely to the Bridge. We have shown time and time again that we have the ability to step up in the big games. so let's say 3 points from that. Man U in the meantime have Derby (a) and Pool (h)- both wins unless the scousers do the unlikely. Not impossible, but i'll go with a home win. Man U win their game in hand and go 1 point clear. Fine. We still have OT and they WILL DROP POINTS at some point. Next weekend- we have Bolton (a) - Wigan take 2. This time, hopefully with some players back and some extra oomph (as opposed to vavavoom) we scrape a win. Man U have Villa at home, not an easy one as we found out. Who knows. Liverpool (h) is MUST WIN as Man U have Boro on the same day. Then the big one. We go to OT. The Theatre of Quim. Remember 2002. We can do it. We'll be motivated by our 4-0 drubbing and anything can happen. Even a draw could suffice depending on other results in the run in. Then reading at home - 3 easy points. Meanwhile Manure have to go to Ewood Park, a potential banana skin... Another tricky weekend for ManU follows, they go to Chelsea while we travel to Derby. Another 3 points for us and another big test for Utd. Our last 2- Everton (h) and S'land (a) will be tricky but hopefully by that point we'll have a head of steam. 6 out of 6. Man U have WHM (h) and Wigan (a) (hopefully the pitch will be twice as bad for that one!). So we both take 6 out of 6. Just. And we take the title by 1point!
Chipo
Yeah Chipo that's exactly what I said in the other thread yesterday - there are so many banana skins around that anything's possible. Not to mention the CL draws and the results/injuries coming out of those games which could impact the PL run-in. I understand how the doom and gloom creeps in right after the game. That's why after a bit of rant, we now have to, like the players, stay calm and positive. Get behind the team and really make our support count.
