Yaya Goes Gaga For Arsenal

Barcelona powerhouse midfielder and brother of Arsenal defender, Yaya Toure, admits that he would love to play alongside his sibling.

Amidst rumours that the Catalan's are set for a major clear out this summer, the easy assumption to make is that the Gunners would look to take Yaya Toure off the hands of Barcelona after the departure of Matty Flamini.

Yaya himself admits that the lure of the bright lights of the premier league and the chance to play with his brother might be too tempting to resist.

'I am aware of the interest from the Premier League,' told skysports.com.

'But I can't say anything yet - however it would be great to play in a big team with my brother, it would be fantastic but you never know.'

Wldnt bode too well for when the ACN comes by again tho...anyhow this has to be a rumour. No how Barca will be letting Yaya go. one of their better players

Our best bet to replace Flamini would be Barry...if we could afford him. He knows the climate well and is technicaly up there...he is also at his peak

Well Chelsea coped well enough without their stars, so that's encouraging... I suppose we'd just have to hope Togo repeatedly fail to qualify. I reckon he would be ideal and I rate him higher than Barry for defensive reasons (which is what we need), but it still seems unlikely. It's very unfortunate that we let him slide through when he was on trial.

Yaya was on trial in 2003 and Wenger wanted to sign him, but we couldn't get a work permit. Just to clear that up.

There is some lileage in this story. I've got a source who says it has got to the stage of a pre med. It's not definate, but a big chance. Still won't believe it till I see it. I think Spurs turn off MOTD after they show the bottom half of the PL, they think they won it!

What a despicable, sick, twisted nerk you are. Get off back to your arid, wasteland of a forum where you and your other racist mates belong, AggressiveSpu*rs. You can't get out of the bottom half of the table so stop trying to cast disgusting slurs on the big boys of football. As the table shows, you definitely are out of YOUR league, you cretin.
