Congratulations Utd, You Made It Worthwhile

Congratulations Utd, You Made It Worthwhile

First of all, let's get the unpleasant bit out of the way, Congratulations to Man Utd on not only being the Champions of Europe, but on an awesome season overall.

Over the whole match you might argue that Chelsea were (unbelievably) the better team for a large majority of the game, but you make you're own luck and Fergie's United came out victorious.

Now for the pleasant part.

Thank you Manchester Untied for giving me the opportunity to laugh like a drain at the 20 minute montage of John 'The Ironman' Terry crying like a baby girl.

Not only will that image stay with me for all time, but I also got to giggle at former Arsenal players, and unsavory characters, Ashley Cole and Nicklas Anelka.

Call me bitter if you like, because it's true, but still ..... comedy gold!!

Yep - congratulations ManU. Is there any point SAF continuing now though? Surely this is as good as it gets for him?

Fair play to Man U. Terry was always gonna cry, sometimes I think players play up to it when they lose big games. It makes me wonder if they cry to divert the attention away from their short comings. Not all the time, but I do wonder. I find it hilarious that Cashley has won less with Chelsea than he did with Arsenal, after his "it's not about the money, I want to win things' rant. Has anyone seen this? http://www.onlinegooner.com/editorial/images/2008_5_online_ed_2.jpg

Anelka represents everything wrong about football, as he stepped up to take the penalty he looked like he didn't know why he was a Chesea player, why he was there, why he was bought for £15 mil and not played...all number of contradictions and confusions was smaked across his face, it was so fitting he missed. I"ve actually discovered a new found repsect for Chelsea this season, as our beloved Arsenal demonstrated an almost unforgivable Spurs style bottling, Chelsea showed strength against all the odds, but unfortunately no team van have Anelka AND Cashley in the same side and be genuinely liked. For football purists Man Utd needed to win.

Im still waiting for the "Terry shames World by missing penalty and crying" like the Gallas story.

Yep, you've got to give it to SAF, as much as I despise the bloke, the record tells no lies. But above all, you've got to laugh at John Terry.

nice gesture guys - though i cant help feeling this articel was born more out of a mutual hate for chelsea. but all the same a good gesture - and your right about terry, they acted like he was the only chelsea player to lose. i feel sorry for essien and cech, the only two players in their team that i can say i DONT hate. look forward to next season guys!

It's like the 2006 final though. All they showed at the end was Henry shaking hands with the Barcelona players. They didn't show the devestation of the rest of the squad and the fans. I suppose at least we know how Chelsea feel, so we can have a pop.... just as they did.

I really don't care about Anelka and Cole, i believe Chelsea were the better side and deserved to win. Can we let them go for their treason now, its not worth the thought we give it.

A penalty shoot out does not define a winner, just like our crap victory over Man U in the FA. Yes it goes down as a victory but in my heart of hearts, its just doesnt make it. just me though!
