Amazing Eduardo Back In Training

An astonishing video has hit the interweb with footage of Arsenal striker Eduardo back in training.

A little over 3 months ago, Eduardo suffered a leg break, so horrific that most television companies refused to show it, by the feet of Birmingham 'gentle giant' Martin Taylor.

Amazingly Eduardo's recovery is well on it's way and now a video has been released of the Crozillian going through some pretty rigorous training I must say.

Many people, including myself, thought Eduardo's career was well and truly over after making the wrong decision to look at images of Eduardo's injury.

The news of Eddie's swift return to training will warm the hearts of all Gooners, indeed football fans in general.

I would walk 500 miles... Great player and a great guy!
Goofle
If the stories that he can resume full training at the beginning of August are true, having only been out for less than 6 months then he will have lost very little. He could be back in full action as early as October. That has to be excellent news for the club and, in many ways more importantly, for him.

This is amazing! was just watching the video and it really is unbelievable to thionk he is back training after that horric injury, seems the kinda guy that will be back and better then ever! i really hope he does ... he is a great lad and a great player!
Achilles
Sweet Jesus,thats great news!

The most positive thing for me was his body language. His movements and facial expressions showed me one of the most determind son's of bitchies around. Can't wait to see you back Eddie!!
Rocky7
Thank God he's such a strong boy! We knew he's made of very stern stuff and would come back didn't we? Even for an optimist like me, his progress is nothing short of amazing!
Lou the Gunneress
And poor Tomas and Robin must be very jealous..
Lou the Gunneress
impressive recovery... it speaks volumes for his strength of mind and how positive he was when he came out of hospital... he should be sprinting in 3-4 months but i'd rather he came back in the new year.. he and us can't afford to take any risk...
Gael-Force
incredible - i too was one of those that thought he would do well to play again but he 'might' even play again before the year ends, quite abit before the end of it aswell maybe, which would be a remarkable recovery. good luck to him.
pompeyrug
that is quite amazing and i can't wait to see him next season!
t3wbaca2
That is a Wolverine level of healing, he is obviously one of those mutants and Wenger is some kind of Charles Xavier figure. Eduardo is amazing, the recovery will be made complete when he puts on an Arsenal shirt and becomes a goal machine.
Professor Calculus
Yep, truly breathtaking. I hope his comeback is like Larsson's, who was out for only a short time and came back better than ever. However, the physical recovery is half the battle, the real question is, how will he react when that first tackle comes in?
Little Dutch
It's as if the video was made before he ever got injured (except for the scar on his foot). Truly incredible. Can't wait to see him back on the pitch, although we must be very careful about when we put him on.
ArsenalRob
LD - The look on his face suggests to me that he can't wait to find out. Exceptional character. Since I snapped my humerous bone in a drunken armwrestle, the last thing I'd want to do is try it again .... and that was 6 years ago .... lol
Rocky7
Which do you don't want to try again Rocky, getting drunk or the armwrestle?
entropy13
I forgot to type LOL there. Here it is, LOL
entropy13
Keep kicking ass Eduardo!! Cant wait to see you back :)
gunnerkid107
Rocky, we're talking about a guy who refused to take morphine injections in such pain. I don't think it'll make him scared of tackles, but make him stronger cos he's been through the worst and nothing will scare him anymore. (Optimist speaking again.)
Lou the Gunneress
He doesn't know what he's missing ... morphine is ace!! Lol!!! When I broke my arm I had everything they offered me.
Rocky7
Dudu seems to be a tough character. He will recover physically (and its good to see him exercising) and he will recover mentally. I'm certain of that. You only have to read of his struggles to make it as a professional footballer and you know that we have a deceptively mean SOB playing for us.
prits
oi lads does anyone have the link to the video of Dudu's interview? i really want to hear him say all that, even though i dun understand croatian..
luckys_10
Luckys there's a link at the end of the article. And Dudu's speaking Portuguese there.
Lou the Gunneress
all the best eduardo, have a swift and uneventful recovery. -Rocky7, I know!!! morphine is tops, i had the drip on me last time i was at the hospital, i just kept pressing the button lol, mind you it is set so that you can only press it every 15 mins =((.
carefreeblue
Wolverine is into football now...
k_chelski
thanks Lou, i think i need glasses now, that was really silly of me..
luckys_10
De nada. Super Dudu isn't he! I was expecting him to walk slowly, trying to see if his healed bones are strong enough by now. But light jogging, moving exercises, and kicking a ball! I'm really amazed!
Lou the Gunneress
For some reason, I just love this guy and he just seems destined to be an Arsenal legend. I'm sure you'll never hear him doing a ******* Flamini or Hleb!
Gooner_Vin
yeah, this is amazing, but he needs to hit the weights as soon as he can, he doesnt look as buff anymore,,haha
gooner_till_i_die
Good news, also for Taylor, bet he was tormenting himself about it.
Boxer
his career was never over!tottaly accident! good to c him back tho
arron11
Great news for you guys, football and for Eduardo himself.Lets hope he takes it nice and steady and maybe he might be ready for the start of the new season.A great'pick me up' for your club after the goings on of Flamini and Hleb etc!Good luck to him.
cockaduddle
Boxer please don't turn this in to a Taylor issue. I am really please about Eduardo's injury, the type of character he is and his age made me worry that bit more just hope he makes a mental recovery also.
Gunners
Just goes to show how good the Arsenal medial staff are. This guy could be a huge player for us in the latter stages of next season. Hopefully he can bag some of those vital second goals to kill teams off. We missed that a bit since his injury, especially vs. the big teams.
PENZ
nice to see him back although it is early days yet! The test will come with the physical side of things!
merlin
hope he makes it back fully and quickly
mick66owl
I could not be happier for Eddie, what a champion, I only feel sorry for him and all Croatians that he wont be able to take part in the Euro 08's as I seriously thought with him in their side Croatia were a good outside chance at winning that competition. Would love to have him back in our side asap, his contribution last season was invaluable and his injury in my mind probably made the difference between a title winning season and the collapse we suffered.
Ozi Gooner
if dudu can return in january for us it would be awesome. i hope in the meantime he takes his time towards a complete recovery and rediscover his old form. cant help but feel sorry for croatia though. second highest scorer in the qualifiers missing from the squad. and also to our club, he COULD have made a difference in a season where the margins between winning and losing was very small. just wanna shout out a well done to the medical teams in brazil and arsenal, keep up the good work.
supersof
Lou, Eduardo refused those morphone injections because he'd already been administered some sort of relaxant while still on the pitch--it calmed him down. Also, luckys, I provided a Portuguese translation of his comments in that interview in the previous thread (the one about Blatter).
jaelle
supersof, I too feel sorry for Croatia, I think they could've gone far in the tournament with Eduardo. They may still do well of course, who knows.
jaelle
Glad to see he is making a recovery. I'm also glad that the filthy team (surprise surprise, former Rangers manager) that done it to him were relegated. Rightly so!
R.K
Fantastic news for little Eduardo personally and of course for us. This is truly amazing recovery given that I was deeply pessimistic when I saw his horrific injuries. There is some justice after all in this world after all it seems. Keep it up dudu; you're a little champion!
julieloveshenry4ever
eduardo is a quality player 4 arsenal i wish pompey had signed him but eduardo play suits arsenal so him and van persie /adebayor.
stfc ballboy
Im an Aston Villa fan but 2nd team Arsenal =] Great news
Blitz
Glad for yer Eduardo, get back quick but make it after you play Tottenham ;-))
YiddoNick
Great to see he's back training already. I thought that was his career over after his terrible injury.
dazza71

Paulinho
