Sagna Extends Arsenal Stay

One of the performers of the season in the 2007/08 campaign has penned a new contract tying him down to the Guuners till 2014.

In Bacary Sagna's first season in the Premier League, not only did he settle in well, but had the aura of a fully fledged PL veteran and was easily the best right back in the League.

Arsene Wenger's Arsenal have rewarded the Frenchman for his fine work with a contract extenstion that I presume would carry a healthy pay rise.

Out of all the positions that needed strengthening I would have said full back was the least of our worries last season, yet the dreadlocked defender turned out to be Wenger's best signing.

yeah.. the lad deserves it.. IMO wenger should move for nasri before the euros if he has to.. his price might escalate after that.... however.. wenger has a track record of not signing players the media quotes he will.. example dudu.. we were to sign palacios acc to reports.. we ended up signing him out of nowhere..
