Vela: Spurs a Stepping Stone

Vela: Spurs a Stepping Stone

Fresh from expressing his desire to play for the Arsenal, Carlos Vela has followed in the footsteps of Cesc Fabregas by firmly endearing himself to gooners everywhere, as he expressed his views on the Spuds signing of his buddy, Giovani Dos Santos:

I am happy for him.

I hope things go well for him at Tottenham, that he gets the minutes he wasn't given at Barcelona and that he shows what he can do.

He is a very good player and let's hope he can then move on to a better team.

Shouldn't be too hard. Well played, young sir. If you play like you speak, we Gooners will be loving you next season...

lol nice to see young Vela is getting into the spirit of things! Spurs have got themselves two fine players in Dos Santos and Modric. Not sure how much luck I want to wish them for the coming season but if I were a Spud I would be happy with those two.
