'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Tommy Guns For Improvement

Tomas Rosicky has endeared himself to Gooners with a string of silky performances worthy of previous Arsenal numbers 7's.

In his first few months as an Arsenal player, Rosicky has slotted almost seamlessly into the side, but is adamant he will improve his game.

'I hoped I would do well and I am very happy that I play regularly, that I have gained ground there this quickly,' Rosicky said.

'However, it is very difficult. The Premiership is very quick, but I believe I will be even better.'

With the absence of many important players, Tommy has stepped up to the plate and dictated the play, along with Cesc Fabregas beautifully.

Tommy Gun has settled in better than expected, and will be a real force next season..I think he will get his fare share of goals for us next season.

He certainly loves a dig from distance. It took Al Hleb a year to settle in and now he's one of our best players, but Tommy looked at home right away, he looks to do something everytime he gets the ball. Great player.

Speaking of great Arsenal Number 7s... Who do you reckon was the finest? That is a really, really tough call.

Wonder if Rosicky will play centrally again once the Champs lge returns or if he'll continue to play wide left in a 4-4-2?

After watching him play for us this season, you get the feeling he's been a gooner for years. he's tailor made for our passing football and the guy has so much ability on the ball, in 3-4 years time, he can go on and become the best attacking midfielder in europe. i dun understand why he under achieved so much in germany. agreed he played for a team that hasn't been doing well for a few years now, but even his own performances haven't been that great in germany. and you watch him play for us, he looks in a different class to what he was in his time in germany..

Hleb one of our best players ... dont talk silly rocky, hleb still isnt quiete there yet, holds the ball far to much for my liking ... abit ball greedy ... gets the ball runs with it loses it ... time after time, ok so maybe 1 in 20 runs he may do summat good but he still struggling i think, i would rather see theo playing week in week out rather than hleb ...

I like him as a player he is hard working. I like that about Arsenal the players at the least work which is what I want as a fan. I rate Arswen Wenger for buying players who actually mesh with the team. With Rosiky it's like he has been an Arsenal player for years. Unlike some managers who buy top class strikers only to find that they can't score in, umm for the sake of an ''example'', the premiership.

Achilles I think you need to watch Arsenal more closely...Hleb has undoubtedly been one of our best players this season whose incisive passing and ability to beat players has more often than not been the difference in matches...chelsea away, liverpool at home and in the cup, away at blackburn, united away(the pass for the pen?? though it was missed), spuds away in the cup, hamburg at home...I could go on..go watch these games and you'll see how vital he is and how much Theo can learn from him

He'll be a key player if you are to win something this season. Go Tommy go!

Achilles; Hleb has been without a shadow of a doubt been our most creative attacking player this season, he pounds the oppo relentlessly, rips them apart and then confuses them somemore. Hleb and Cesc are striking a formidible partnership.

Well said Rocky...I think that in the absence of Hleb and a creative player for Cesc to link up with on the right of midfield perhaps Tommy should play there until he returns..in the last few years the right has been our main source of creativity and with Hleb and Eboue out Wenger should remedy this by putting Tommy there

No offence but as things stand Hleb is more important to the Arsenal team than Walcott in my opinion, I know Walcott is Brittish but I don't hold that sentiment. His goes through players like a hot knife through butter that Hleb and it is key. It helps us break down the opositions defence and midfeild.
