Titi & Paddy Told Nasri To Be A Gooner

Arsenal new boy, Samir Nasri has revealed Gunners legends Thierry Henry and Patrick Vieira help him to arrive at the decision to join Arsenal.

The Nasri transfer has been a loooooooong story and now the deal is done, interviews are coming thick and fast. In his first interview with the Arsenal official site, Samir revealed Henry, Vieira, Wenger and the French connection convinced him North London was the right place to be.

'I know Thierry Henry and Patrick Vieira very well and they have told me a lot of good things about Arsenal Football Club. They both had amazing times at this Club and, even talking to them now, they are still very enthusiastic about Arsenal. Both Thierry and Patrick have given me a lot of advice and they both told me that it was the best choice for me to come to Arsenal.'

We can finally change the poll - let's choose between that kid from Cardiff and the other kid from Marseille, or if you count the other case of "FINALLYYYY", we can include that Mexican kid coming home from Spain as well. ;)

Thanks Rocky, I've voted for Samir mainly bcos it looks like he'll get more games than the other two kids. And looking at that interview, it sounds like Samir's an Arsenal fan. If he felt that strongly about us coming so close last season, he should be all fired up and motivated to win things for the club this year.

I've voted for Vela. In terms of games, I'm sure Nasri will get more but I have a good feeling about Vela.

Good to hear that Paddy and TH still talk fondly of us. No reason why they shouldn't but so many seem to forget the good times once they move on.

I find it's very rare anyone leaves Arsenal and has a bad word to say. Even Anelka had some kind words a month or two ago.

lol Paul so what if he came to this website and also saw your comment? :D But seriously, I'm also confident that Ramsey will do well - the boy has what it takes to succeed, both in terms of talent and motivation. Although he's the youngest signing, I think he'll grab his chances when Arsene plays him in the domestic cups and the odd league games.
