Arsenal - Kolo Toure Returns To Training

Kolo Toure has returned to training after being struck down with malaria.

Toure was reported (by the D&G merchants might I add) to miss the start of the season after contracting the disease that can cause fatalities.

However pictures posted on the clubs official website today showed a happy Kolo Toure looking a picture of health posing for photos sporting a groovy new hair cut.

So that's one thing to be thankful for!

should've guessed it was all *********! Really starting to hate the british press-they seem to be getting more annoying every summer, so much so that i actually wrote a letter to sky sports yesterday concerning cesc and their attempts to destabalise us further by basically attributing made up quotes to him. needless to say i haven't heard a response back about why they report made up quotes, yet are happy to ignore the actual quotes he made on arsenal.com this morning!

Kolo is an iron man! From those pictures I also like how Denilson puts in a tough tackle hehe. The guy running alongside Kolo is actually the other Lewin, not Gary, who's started work with England already, right? I suspect it's a wrong caption there.

Maybe it was the other haircut that made him so bad before. He could become the old Toure with this new one. Gives him a bit more height!

I told you, the malaria I know is nothing. I know that according to stats, malaria kills more people than Aids/Hiv in Africa, but it's mostly kids and old people (vulnerable) and has a lot to do with poverty, ignorance about the need for quick treatment, lack of access, etc as opposed to the severity of the disease itself. Mind you, cerebral malaria, I'm told, makes you act like a mad person. In reality, it's very hard to hear of a normal grown up in the 20-60 age bracket who died of malaria.
Afri-gooner, I'm Kenyan, so I can understand how it's weird "these people" appear ignorant about malaria. But then again, I bet you're pretty ignorant about snow, or Llamas, and so on. It's the same thing. All hail the internet. And no, Afri-gooner, your being familiar with tequila's doesn't count!
