Cesc Says He's Staying ...... Again

Cesc Fabregas has once again spoken out against the mischief makers, stating he didn't speak to any news agencies.

A rumour that Cesc claimed he would leave the Gunners should they go a fourth season without winning silverware, were rubbished by the Spaniard.

'I have not spoken to any media so it's frustrating to read quotes that I have supposedly said about my future.

'I have spent the summer relaxing with my family, friends and girlfriend and I return to training with Arsenal tomorrow.

'I think that some people are just trying to make mischief but my intentions are very clear. I am happy here at Arsenal, my future is with Arsenal and the priority is to achieve success and win trophies at Arsenal.'

Anyone with half a brain knew these quotes were crap as they originated from Madrid's mouth-piece, Marca. Indeed all good Arsenal sites did not even give this rumour the the time of day by saying it was rubbish.

Nice going Cesc.

Cesc is a top player who wants to plauy for the best around. He has been doing that with you but because all those brought up in Spain, their early years are filled with dreams of playing for Real or Barca. You can't blame the lad. You'll getr a big chunck of cash & move on as he will, but not yet.

He must be getting bored with this, I know most of us are. Isn't this the third time he's had to confess his loyalty publicly this summer alone. Still only 19 days left of 'silly season'!

Haha Rocky you know just like Marca recycled (and twisted) some of Cesc's old quotes, you could recycle your previous articleSSSS on this subject too. In fact the title of this piece sounds familiar to me. ;)

Basically he has come and said Marca have lied or co0mpletely made up these rediculus stories. Any, if he goes back to Spain, it would be Barcelona as his more likely destination wouldn;t it?
LondonGooner
I know he still has a season ticket at the Camp Nou, but I think they would begrudge paying big money for someone who walked out on them five years ago! Everytime he is liked with Spain, it's always Real!

Hehe do you think Barca are a club of principles? They signed Gerard Pique, a kid in their academy who had left Barca for more chance of first team football at a young age, from ManU this summer. If they're ok with signing one of their old kids in Pique's calibre, it's not abnormal that they're salivating over Cesc right now. They said those things just to save face and claim credit in Cesc's development. And it's possibly more about the little compensation we paid them in the first place - they even sued Fran Merida for leaving them for us and we paid the 2m (or something like that) for the kid. If Cesc becomes a galatico a few years later, they'd want him. But for now only Real get linked with these superstars cos they're one of the very few clubs who'd pay crazy money for players to appease their fans. For Barca it also depends which president/sporting director are in charge a few years from now, so their thinking keeps changing.

I can never take Marca seriously. Every article is absolute *****.

Can't get over how good wilshere has been this pre-season

Spot the difference between Cesc and Ade/Hleb/Flam: Cesc always comes out immediately and firmly to rubbish these stories and declares his commitment to the club.

Did anyone on here actually believe the quotes from Marca??
ForeverUnited
ForeverUnited, maybe not on this blog but a lot of clueless fans out there will believe anything they hear in the news...

James Lawton summarises the situation pretty well here: http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/news-and-comment/james-lawton-fabregass-fealty-is-a-cause-for-celebration-879441.html

Fabregas has repeatedly pledged his future to the club. Were he to go Real Madrid would be forced to pay a forturen.

If he does ever leave, which he probably will one day, he will go to Barca.
MrArsenal
